These are incredible! I've used these floss picks twice daily for 4 years , and not a single string has broken. The taut, fine string scrapes areas clean that hand floss seems to glide over (not to knock the benefits of hand floss, but I've noticed less tartar build up with these picks!). I love that the pointed tip is ridged -- supposed to be a tongue scraper, but I use it like floss to scrape off tartar near the gums (~ 1x weekly). Not sure if dentists would recommend this (I forgot to ask), but no notes received about damaged enamel so far! lol

All items of any kind have cheapened their products. This one used to be too thick for my teeth. After their cheapening process they are perfect for me. The other brands break half way through my teeth.
