10LBS of Wheat bran,Mealworm Superworm Bedding

My spoiled ducks have a mealworm farm and those mealworms eat a LOT of wheat bran. Wheat bran prices seem to be getting quite high this year and the worms were eating the smaller 4 lb bags way too fast. I decided to go for this even though others say it was too much. It's the perfect amount for us! We probably have about 100 beetles and 1,000's of mealworms. This is a great food source for them. Keeps the worms happy and growing, which keeps the ducks happy.

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my meal worms and noticed all these little chunks. At first I thought it was just wheat bran chunked up in a ball so didn’t think much of it, then I picked it up and squished it a bit and it seems to be mold or some kind of mildew? Not really sure but I don’t feel safe feeding these worms to my reptiles after eating this. There’s also chunks of corn and what looks to be bird seed or something? Kinda leads me to believe it’s not straight up wheat bran but ground up bird seed & corn as well. Also it’s too finely ground and will fall right through the filter screen immediately. (Which isn’t a huge issue just thought I’d add for other meal worm keepers). The mold/mildew is my biggest concern.

Meal is finely ground and worms ate quickly. The bag only lasted 1/2 the time it usually takes to use a bag.

Good value good quality make a lot of bokashi. It’s cheaper to make bokashi mix myself.

Yes it really made a differnts how long my worms live. With 40 Beared rescued dragon that go through 5000 supper worms a lone each month I'd order again an again. Shame nothing bigger then 10lbs. Diesel water dragon species of bearded dragon
