Brooks Men's Beast '20 Supportive Running Shoe

This is my third pair of Beasts. I’m about 300 pounds and have bad knees and back pain. They help a lot! Great for walking, though I confess my running days are past. Go to tje brooks site and use the shoe selector tool. I over pronate and they’re perfect for me, but may not be ideal for everyone. However, there is no better shoe for big people. Highly recommend.

I used to have a ton of back pain and foot pain. My foot doctor and trainer recommended Brooks and I now buy nothing but Brooks. Now my back pain does come back from time to time---that is when I usually know I need a new pair. I was told about every six months get a new pair, but how many people can afford this? So, I get a new pair when I notice my back is getting sore....it works. Saved my life--literally.

I bought a pair of Brooks shoes about two years ago and have worn them daily since then. During the full Covid Pandemic, I have walked every day. I have walked over 200 miles per month for over 2 years wearing these shoes. I finally wore out the heals and decided it was time to replace them. I located exactly the same brand and model and size on Amazon and bought them. They arrived as timely as expected and they fit exactly the same as the previous pair of shoes. These shoes are excellent and extremely comfortable for me. I started out walking when I was over 200 pounds and lost over 30 pounds just walking every day. I highly recommend these shoes.

Wonderful shoes that are extremely supportive!

Purchased after recommended by friend for relief of knee pain. I've had one knee replacement and have other knee in my future for replacement. Shoes immediately eased my discomfort that came with eight hour shift in health care. What a difference for me, customer for life!

I've got fairly flat feet and need the support. I've been running with Brooks Beast shoes for years and they are the only shoes I run with. I think that if you need extra support and comfort, these are the shoes to get.

THEY ARE A GREAT RUNNING SHOE !

I had a tendon transferred in my foot 7 years back to replace a ruptured tendon and as such I suffer from over pronation of my ankle, where it rolls in.I've always worn Brooks running shoes but this is my first pair of Beast 20 running shoes. I don't actually do any running but for day to day comfort and walking about, these are super comfortable.They have a really thick supportive sole and the heel is held in place firmly. I went for the Beast as I read that are designed for heavy runners and last longer. They certainly cope with my 6'2" 14 stone frame.I can honestly say at the end of the day, my feet and ankles don't feel tired. Of all the Brooks range I have tried these of the most support. Hopefully is you suffer with flat feet or rolling in ankles you will find this review helpful.

As a ..ahem.. slightly larger gentleman, I was recommended these for their support, and I have to say after two months they are still excellent in cushioning the impacts on my joints that my morning waddle creates. Given the price, however, I was disappointed that the upper mesh has already started to fray and develop holes where it meets the toe protector. Also, although this won't affect everyone, the tread is shallow. This means the shoes are slippery in muddy conditions, and can slide around on paving slabs or wooden surfaces- excellent on grass and dry tracks, however.

These trainers are fantastic. You feel like you are walking on air. The fit is just right and the quality bus excellent.As a 16 stone, 6ft 2" tall runner, these shoes give great support and comfort. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Brooks Beast to any runner looking for superior cushioning.

Great for the big bloke I’m 6’5” tall and 18 stone and they’re the best shoes I’ve owned for jogging in. Really supportive and cushioned under foot.

Love these, people said very heavy on other reviews- but for my needs totally perfect up to 7 or 8 miles - very happy - only nag is price bit higher than other sites - but service always great for me here
