AmpMed Amplim Medical Grade No-Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer

Works fast and easy.

I am a home health occupational therapist and have to check my patient's temperature every time I make a visit. The company I work for provides the traditional ones that goes into the mouth (plastic sleeves are put on them). Some of my other co-workers bought their own forehead thermometers. The ones they use look like guns (to me). I never liked the idea of pointing something that looks like a gun at someone. When I came across this one I felt that it would be perfect. Most of my patients say it looks like a remote, and it does, lol. When it arrived I was impressed with it's sleek design. It was easy to use and has a fast response time. I like that it has an automatic turn off feature. I get a lot of questions about it. The company that I work for hired an assistant for me (called a COTA) and when she saw mine, she ordered one on the spot. Ive been using this since February (It is now August) and it is still going on the same batteries. I am very happy with this thermometer. I recommend

This thermometer is accurate WHEN IT IS CLEAN. The hole at the end attracts dust and dirt, and then reads out improperly. I thought I had a fever of 103 when I was running at 99.2F. Then, after using a q-tip to clean the ostensibly clean lens, it works perfectly. If I keep it in the box, IT STILL GETS DIRTY. While I'll keep it because I get how it works, and feel I can handle the quirks, this annoyed me quite a bit. . Otherwise, It's a quick read and an accurate number.

Fast, Accurate, and Easy to Use! The Amplim No-Touch Forehead Thermometer is a lifesaver, especially for families with kids and infants! It provides fast and accurate readings in just seconds, which is perfect for checking temperatures without disturbing a sleeping baby. The touchless design is hygienic and ideal for multiple users, reducing the risk of spreading germs. I love how the large digital display is easy to read, even in the dark, and the fever alert system is a great feature for quick health monitoring. It’s lightweight, user-friendly, and medical-grade, making it a great addition to any home. Whether you’re using it for infants, kids, or adults, this thermometer is a must-have for reliable and stress-free temperature checks. Highly recommend!

Very good thermometer easy to use good quality.

Accurate and sleek. Fits perfectly in my Fannie pack at work.

Not great at taking accurate temperatures, but still somewhat useful as a reference. Easy to use. I'm rarely disappointed with things that I get online as I usually try to do my due diligence in comparing products and reading reviews, but I definitely feel like I wasted some money on this thermometer. Having a couple of little kids, I wanted something that could quickly, easily, and accurately tell me their temperature to know if they were feverish or not. I was getting readings all over the place with this thermometer, with wildly different readings with the different modes. I immediately found I couldn't really trust the accuracy of this product. I kept it though because it is so easy to use (and what earned it three stars), and now I just use it to check my kids' temperatures relative to mine. If it says that they are 101°F, but that I am also over 100° when I feel totally fine, then I deduce that they don't have a fever. But in the end, buyer beware that your money is probably better spent elsewhere.

Definitely accurate and the best thermometer I have ever used. Most the negative reviews were because I don't think directions were followed. Make sure to keep it between .3 and 1.2 inches away from your head and measure directly between your eyebrows not above or anywhere else and you'll get accurate results every time! Seriously I almost feel like there was a bad batch or the bad reviews are coming from maybe one bad batch of thermometers that were made or competitors and maybe some people really are having a hard time with them but it's literally the easiest thermometer I've ever used and definitely the quickest. Even with my toddler thrashing around and jumping I can get an accurate read on her temperature and she can even take her own temperature. It's literally the easiest best thing ever created. If I had had this when my little one was just a little bit smaller I could have avoided the rectal thermometers completely! Like seriously y'all don't listen to the other reviews and give it a try and if you end up with a bad one just return it but I promise you we bought like four or five and I've been amazing
