Purchased to replace my original cap that had seen better days. Same quality as the originals and fits perfectly

Works well until the lid fails
As everyone else has said, these are an improvement on the basic lid and work well.However, I've had a few of these now and the threads eventually fail in the softer plastic lid. I'd say I get about a year's use before that happens, but it's happened with all of them.The base part seems to last forever unless you drop the bottle on it directly.
