plug and play, near silent
simple to swap out for original board on an ender 3, wiring is a little tight but that's just the way the machine is made.once installed and powered up the machine worked perfectly as before, no other changes necessary. stepper motors are now near silent making the fans the loudest part of the machine.lots of options for future upgrades e.g bl touch plus the ability to change setting within marlin that were inaccessible on the original ender 3 board.

Another awful BTT failure
I ordered a Voron 0.1 kit and noticed that they (Voron) recommend the BTT SKR E3 Mini v2.0 for their printer. It should not be bad in that case if Voron recommend it, despite BTT products being pretty hit or miss in my personal experience?! So when I needed a new board for an old corexy printer I wanted to upgrade to using a BLTouch I opted for the BTT SKR E3 Mini v2.0.Sadly this is another BTT pig-in-a-poke failure.I know the printer mechanicals work perfectly well as the stock board worked nicely with it. Popping in the E3 Mini (even with the standard BTT-bodged version of Marlin) and the printer utterly fails. Motors stutter, buzz and fail randomly during basic operations. Changing the TMC driver current (or making sure the drivers are using spreadcycle rather than stealthchop, and making sure sensorless homing was off) makes not a blind bit of difference: the motors stutter and stall. Swapping in the original board and everything works, put the E3 mini in and things fail.I wasn't about to waste a huge amount of time diagnosing the problem, I've wasted too much time trying to sort shoddy BTT products (this board makes it a 25% success rate for BTT products in my experience). From the limited diagnosis I did do, it appears the board is capable of driving a single axis (slowly) without issue. Try and move multiple axis simultaneously (as you would in printing) and the motors start to fail so the conclusion is the board cannot supply enough juice to the motors. Remember the power supply, wiring and motors all work perfectly with the stock board so there's no question that the power supply isn't producing enough juice. Besides I never even got as far as printing anything with the E3, basically all I've been trying to do is confirm basic movement (nothing taxing and nothing fast). The board utterly fails to provide enough juice for the simplest of operations.Clearly the E3 Mini V2 must work for someone otherwise Voron would not recommend it. However, this appears to be like most BTT products - very much hit or miss in terms of reliability/quality.The only saving grace is Amazon. I can buy this stuff safe in the knowledge that I can return it to Amazon for a worry-free refund.

loving BTT at the moment
This is not the first time that I have provided amazon users positive words about BTT I’ve found their boards to be very easy to use and when I have had an issue it has been very quickly sorted. I will be using them again
