Playmobil Super 4 Techno Chameleon with Gene Building Kit

Our four year old son is a huge Super 4 fan and this entire set is wonderful. Each piece is a perfect replica of the characters on the show. He plays for endless hours with the characters and sometimes watches the show at the same time. Playmobil makes great quality products and this series is no exception! The little pieces are a challenge for Mom, but sure do not take away from the hours of enjoyment he has had with his new toys. Thanks to Playmobil for creating both a wonderful tv series on Netflix and the corresponding toy series.

Well made!! All parts are durable and fit together as instructions show. Easy to follow instructions too - mainly all picture-based. One item we noticed is that the satellite disc has to be removed to open the back flap all the way up, otherwise, pretty flawless design. Also took an extra minute to see that the wheels snap up to drive and snap down to hover - we had them in between for a second, which was no good. It's covered in the instructions. First time buyers of Playmobil because the kids like the Netflix series so much! Thanks!!!

My 6 year old son has been watching Super 4 on Netflix so I bought this for him for Christmas. Lots of pieces, but easy to build - for a parent or older kid. A younger kid that's really good at building things from instructions could probably handle it. I built ours. The vehicle has some cool features like the front and top opening up, a side door, a spot with a gun that shoots on one side that opens up, and Genes accessory gun and flashlight. Gene's looking pretty awesome in his suit and red tennis shoes. The tires that flip up so it turns into a hover vehicle are pretty awesome, too, but be careful not to pinch your fingers.

I recently reviewed another PLAYMOBIL set with a knights and castles theme, and was surprised how different the two sets were in terms of construction. The actual material quality still feels very nice on the Chameleon set, but I had hoped for tighter locking pieces. As is, many of the pieces are very small and very easy to detach. I kept many of the pieces aside so any small children in the home can't get to them, but there is still a lot to do here. The actual vehicle rolls easily, and has a hover 'pretend' function, but the wheels are difficult to move into the hover position. I like that the vehicle has four 'doors', but the coolest one is a little spinning tube door that the figures can't fit inside. The attention to detail is really nice, and while I hate installing decals, the included decals offer a lot of color and feel very durable as well. Even the back of the seats have custom graphics. Again, the build quality is very high here, and it feel like the type of toy kids can really take out and have adventures with for years to come without major breaks. They could possibly lose some of the many tiny parts, however. Overall, if your child is into tech and gadgets, this is a great set with an obvious 'Men in Black' themed feel to it.

Playmobil never disappoints. The figures are adorable and functional. This set is perfect for any Super 4 fan, or even any Playmobil fan. My daughters has enjoyed hours of play with these sets.

my boy loved it since day one. had been playing with it, sleeping with it, eating with it for over 2 weeks! my boy is 3. the quality of this is great, he spend an hour putting it together with daddy. it has many details, just like the one on tv.

This is a great playmobil set! Its a car but opens up and can be played with too!
