Lasted 3 years 3 months
I purchased this Samsung 512gb micro SD card on April 1, 2021 for my Samsung S10+. It has been giving me hints that something was wrong for a couple months. My phone would suddenly tell me that there was no SD card and one time a bunch of my photos disappeared! Luckily I have my photos automatically back up to both Google and Amazon Photos, so I didn't lose anything.Yesterday, July 15th, 2024, the Micro SD card switched to Read Only, as it has apparently reached the end of its life. Next time I know that when the SD card starts having problems I need to get a new one. I was going through the camera picture folder that gets saved to the Micro SD and many of them seem to have been lost. Fortunately, I have them all backed up. Next time I won't wait for it to die before buying a replacement one.Performance wise this Micro SD card worked very well. There was a noticeable difference in performance with it. Nothing was a problem to run. Very little lag on anything. Highly recommend it.

A memory card with two lives - would buy again
I bought this card for a Samsung S10+ phone. It served up music and audio books daily, housed photos and small video and the actual purchase was quite awhile ago. Items like these really should be reviewed when things are not quite as desired. However, I recently changed phones and the card now reside in a slot on my computer where it continues to work flawlessly and with more than respectable speed.Unless you need a card with higher specs (perhaps video use in a camera etc.), this is a solid performer. I am continuing to see how long it will take to have issues. It is being used for moderate backup copies of certain files (also have backups elsewhere) so it is constantly engage 2-3 a week.

Budget SD card, reasonable value
Samsung is the top manufacturer when it comes to SD cards. The Evo line strikes a good balance of value for cost. For devices that do not need the newest fastest storage technology, or high endurance for constant writing (ex: dashcams and security cam setup), these are adequate.A good option for the Nintendo Switch, as it can not make use of higher speed cards.Recommend the Evo line if this type of card meets your usage criteria.

SD Cards Are Great - Overpriced, But Still Helpful - Less Than Built-In Storage
I got this SD card to use with my phone. The phone has options for a 512 GB or 128 GB onboard storage. The price difference is $280 while you can get the 512 right now for around $100. I would rather have the storage on the card so what the heck. This card has fast enough write speed to allow me to easily use it in my drone or phone and snap photos like a madman. I've purchased / used / love this same brand of SD card for a long time and have had zero issues... about 10 of them in all.

Can't go wrong with Samsung storage
I've been using this micro sd card for more than a month now on my Samsung Galaxy Book Pro laptop and it's impressive. I used this to expand storage on my laptop, this is where I store less frequently accessed files. By default, my laptop only has 512GB storage, I added another 1TB M.2 and this 512GB for a total of 2TB. The read/write speed on this sd card is fast. I often times can't tell the difference when transferring small files in between drives. Although when transferring large files I can see it is slower compared to the M.2 NVME drive. But the more I use it often, the less I care about the difference in speeds, it works great on normal workloads. I highly recommend this micro sd card to those who have laptops with micro sd card slots and are looking for a quick way to expand their storage.

Last 3 Year 7 Month
I used this SD card as extra storage for my laptop, and it worked flawlessly until yesterday. Suddenly, the laptop couldn’t recognize the card and said it needed to be formatted. Unfortunately, I hadn’t backed up the data, so I bought data recovery tool. Then today, the SD card became readable again, but it’s now “write-protected,” just like someone else mentioned in their review. Thankfully, I didn’t lose any data in the end. I might buy this card again, expecting it to last about three years.

Reliable
These things work from the git-go and have yet to give me a speck of trouble.I have four which I intend to use to transcribe several hundred pounds of vinyl, cassette tapes and CDs into an extremely small space.I'm using them as the memory for a Hidizs AP80 PRO digital music player [which has no native memory] which I'll be able to either run through a home stereo or take on the road with me or in my better half's SUV.One thing I found out the hard way in using micro-SD cards for digital music players: it's really important to use the manufacturer's primary brand recommendation. I can format these in a MacBook Pro and they work perfectly ... with the Hidizs.I'm certain that this WOULDN'T necessarily be the case with a different digital music player manufacturer. Also I got little plastic cases for the micro SD card / adapter combination; here's the link:eTECH 10 Pack of Clear Plastic SD/SDHC/SDXC/MicroSD/MicroSDHC/MicroSDXC Memory Card Case Holder for SanDisk/Kingston/Transcend/Samsung Memory Card (Plastic Case Only, Memory Card Not Included)These will look bass-ackward with regard to the little brackets intended to secure the micro SD card, but it's counterintuitive. THEY FIT. The small side supports the side of the card with the contacts; the large side supports the opposite side (which you push into your device until it "clicks" into place). Both products strongly recommended.
