HP3R 500 Lumen Rechargeable LED Penlight with TWIST FOCUS, Black

While not as bright as the Streamlight Stylus 350 lumen, its made better and actually works. I went through 2 of the stylus rechargeables until Streamlight simply would not respond to me, going so far as to block me on twitter. This one wont leave you hanging, and the Streamlights, when working, would flicker nearly non-stop. They have been "half price" for months now. Here is a cheaper option, 3 brightness modes are nice, the bite caps save my teeth, C-type charging port. Good clip. Yup. No more Streamlights. Been buying them for 2 decades now...why they gotta go out like this? Update since purchase - I'm in love with this thing, its uh pretty badass. Tough, no flickers, low mode is super dim and perfect (you can see to walk through the woods, or see the marking on a hard-to-light-up part to get the part number. Never has gone dead on me yet. This is a solid performer. High is bright enough to see 100 meters into the woods, and definately lights up animal eyes when they peep at you. The low setting does that quite well actually.

Flashlights have come along way. These are small and very bright and long lasting lights. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This really is a fantastic flashlight. The bite guards fit perfectly and don’t slip off the light and comes in a pack of four. It’s is a tiny bit heavier than I like but I typically take it as jaw muscle exercises. I would definitely buy again! Please start selling just the bite guards!!! Missing an entire portion of the market there!

2 YEAR UPDATE: I purchased this 2 years ago. I still use it every day. This is the best light I've ever owned. It still looks in near perfect condition and the blue finish has only slightly rubbed off on the tail where you twist it to open the charging port. This light is designed perfectly for every day carry. Most rechargeable lights cover the charging port with a small rubbber flap that is annoying and comes loose or falls off after about a year. This light's charging port being covered by metal and sealed with a rubber gasket is genius. After 2 years I've noticed the battery is slightly weaker, but only barely. It still holds a good charge and lasts me a week at a time without needing charged, however I don't use it constantly, it's a pen light after all, no pen light lasts a long time if you use it constantly because the batteries are small. They're meant for occasional use at night to spot things or walk to your truck in the woods. One feature I love is the low mode at 24 lumens. When most people purchase a light they look for how bright it is, but the dimmest setting on this light is great. At night, you can see very clearly on dim and it doesn't ruin your night vision as bad as a super bright light would. The battery does run down a lot faster if you use the brightest setting, but I rarely need it. After 2 years I still love this light. I might get a replacement battery in the future but for now it isn't necessary.

I bought this for the slim size to fit in my shirt, and obviously for the brand name. I've used this nearly 5 days/week for 9 months at work and it has held up! It lost a star because it intermittently flickers due to some kind of short in the button switch - backing out the charging port seems to fix the issue. I know Coast has a warranty, but I can't imagine going a period of time without it. I'd say it's borderline whether the value is worth $50 to me, but ultimately, so many lights are garbage and I'd rather spend the money on a reputable brand than to run through a bunch of questionable lights. I didn't want a rechargeable at first, but the battery life is actually pretty great and charging is obviously easy with the usbc port. Brightness is great for my application - awesome for inspection style work, but I also recently started using it for trails with the dog (now that it's getting dark early).

Hands-down, the best inspection light ever. As a Certified welder, I inspect before, during, and after my welds. I also look at other Welding projects and do repairs. This flashlight is perfect for getting in small spaces. It has medium, high, and low settings. Battery lasts a long time too.

Not only is it rechargeable, but you can also replace the battery if it ever fails. I had one I used for work that the battery failed in and after replacing it everything was good until I lost it. I bought this one to replace it. Another great feature is you lift up the end ring to expose the USB port for charging and cover it when not in use. It really helps keep grime out of the port. It's bright for it's size. It's nice to be able to focus the beam also.

Great light and would recommend to anyone for purchase.

I just purchased the Coast flash light and it was bright for a few inspections (using for a spot check) but within less than a week, I realized the battery life was getting shorter. After 2 weeks now I have to recharge the light twice a day. I have purchased previous Coast inspection lights before but for a $100 this is quite unacceptable. ************************************************************* Update after using the Coast H3PR light I actually been using this same LED Flashlight until now. It never occurred to me send the Flashlight back for Warranty back to Amazon for a refund and I kept using it everyday at work. Yes, it kept getting hot and dies out very soon. One day, I stumbled over Coast’s Guarantee over their products. I contacted them and after performing the necessary procedures, Coast mailed me a Brand New LED Flashlight!!! I could not believe it! I thought a new battery would be sent. The new LED Flashlight has no issues at all and last almost all day. Thank you Coast! I will continue to purchase your products.

Great pen light that's well worth the price. Features like the in built USB C on such a small battery stick is amazing. Solid construction with a nice heft. Not a lot of recent reviews on Youtube for this. The upgraded lumen rating is nice too. Plenty of flood coverage from such a small light.

The best pen torch I've ever owned. My most used tool every single day, super bright if you need it, easily cyclable modes, battery life good, stands up to being dropped or getting wet. I'm here leaving a review because I'm buying a second one just in case mine gets broken/lost, that should tell you how good it is.
