Could this be used without the stand as part of a built in BBQ setup?

I wouldn’t have thought so as the stand is integral with the grill set up ie not intended to be used as separate.

Can someone tell me the real length if the full bbq plase , , as description say 40cm! That cant be right if the cooking area is 70cm?

The width of the unit is 80cm and another 28cm each side if you put the plate trays on.
