Handcrafted Handy Dandy Notebooks Inspired Joe and Steve Combo

We purchased these handy-dandy notebooks and crayons for my son who has autism. He loved blues clues growing up, and continues to enjoy the new show.As a special gift for Christmas, we purchased this version of the notebooks. I read the reviews carefully, and realized that the notebook pages were made out of actual paper. He has an excellent memory, and knows what the original notebooks looked like because we still have 17 of the original notebooks, which are well worn and in a shoebox. When he was little, at Christmas time his favorite gift was to receive a notebook under the tree.This year, we got to relive his childhood for a few moments. It was wonderful! The crayon is perfect. The notebook went under scrutiny of this seasoned expert, but he sleeps with it next to him in his bed every night now. We think it was well worth the price.

Great gift for my 7 year old who loves this show!! Fits great in his hands. It came with the jumbo crayons too!

Exactly how it looks is how it came to me! No trick photography here! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of pages in each book as the picture (and show) seem to have very little pages on them. We opened the package while my son (3years old) was asleep and my husband was so excited and impressed he wanted to hide them so that he could come up with a Blues adventure during the weekend. So as of yet my son hasn't played with them but he does know the difference between Steves book and Joes; so we are looking forward to many blues clues adventures!!!

"Santa" gave this set to my boys this Christmas. They love pretending to be Steve and Joe so they were absolutely thrilled to receive this! But, the minute my 2-year-old opened his notebook, pages came flying out. Upon closer inspection, the holes were punched way too close to the edge or right at the edge so that half of the notebook fell out not even five minutes after they started using it. The package came with a sweet note from the maker asking people to email if there were any issues with their order, and I did send her an email more than a week ago but haven't heard back. :(

I've purchased many of these notebook/crayon combos over the years from Handcrafted Handy Dandy Notebooks. The quality is always superb, the shipping is fast and the attention to detail in the product is wonderful. I would recommend to anyone who has children who love the show.

Really cute, good quality.... but I really wish it would have came in some sort of box, it arrived in just a plastic bag so if you’re giving this as a gift, you’ll need to put it in a gift bag
