Streamlight Battery Door - TLR-1/TLR-2

Worked perfect for replacing the battery door on my Streamlight TLR-1. The cost is great for the age of the light. Easy to install and fits perfectly.

This is the OEM Streamlight part and fits the TLR-1 and TLR-2. It was very easy to replace on my TLR-1s and functions just like the original with momentary on or always on light. All it takes is pushing out the pin on your old battery cap, placing the new battery cap in the slot on top of the new cap and then sliding the pin back in. Done. Hopefully it will last at least as long as the original cap lasted.

This is a genuine Streamlight product, NOT aftermarket. Thank goodness Streamlight makes these available. The battery door on TLR-1s and 2s is an interesting design. I got careless with mine and broke the gasket. An intact gasket is necessary for the door to close properly. I was worried I would have to send the whole unit in for repair but instead had this at my door the next day thanks to Amazon. The replacement is a little tricky with the pin, but give yourself a little time and be patient to remove the old door and to guide the pin through the new door. Make sure the pin is properly aligned before you try to force it. I had to insert a little flathead jewelers screwdriver just prior to the second hole to lift the pin. Then it went right in. Thanks Streamlight and Amazon. Saved me a big hassle.

The item from this seller is as described, it's OEM replacement for the streamlight TLR-1. Rated it 4 stars because as a OEM replacement part it let me down. To explain, I purchased this to replace my broken TLR-1 HL door and when the door broke the pin that holds the door to the body of the light fell free. I was hoping that this replacement part would come with one however it did not. So as an idea for anyone else needing said pin I forget the exact size, but I looked into buying a pin online and couldn't find exactly the right pin so I took a drill bit the size needed and cut the end off to the length needed to properly fit and works like a charm! Not Knocking the seller, just streamlight!

Hey all, I recently purchased this streamlight tlr 1-h battery back door replacement and I was about to incert my saved pin onto the door, but I decided to try the advice of a prior review which was " the pin is not necessary ". Well, I tried it without the pin and it works! It's a great tight fit, and operates as it should try it. I will purchase another; thank you Streamlight!.
