DANCO Tub Drain Linkage Assembly, Brass, 1-Pack (88924), 14.625 inches

My old one kept getting stuck and was impossible to move. Once our new one arrived it took my husband 5 minutes to I stall. It was that easy and works flawlessly!

My previous stopper wasn't getting the job done. Turns out, there was build-up in the pipe which had to be cleaned out. Getting the length right was a bit tricky as the previous one's length was off too. Finally managed to get it work via trial and error (which can be cumbersome). But now, it's blocking the drain perfectly!

Old part had corroded threads so it was out of adjustment and the water drained at about 50% flow rate it should. Ne part fixed the issue.

Seems like a solid unit, but once I received it stated it’s only for bronze piping and will not fit plastic drain pipes. So if buying to replace plastic drain pipe trip lever this will not work

It was way too light compared to my old one that had snapped I got the matching trip lever and it just couldn't stop the water from flowing through. I tried to mix and match the parts from my old one and this new one but no dice, the water would just keep on flowing, its also extremely long I had to put it on the shortest setting and it was still really long. It doesn't seem like a cheaply built product just not a good fit for the older generation of bathtubs like I said installing it in mine made no difference.

I am NOT a plumber and just a "do it yourselfer." Watched Youtube video and was able to replace without any issues. Saved big bucks too... This item does the job nicely and has plenty of length capacity to lengthen or shorten the distance (simple screwing up or down to shorten lengthen) needed to stop your drain.

Purchased this replacement tub drain assembly to replace after the old one had broken in the linkage. First had to fish out the old plunger cylinder with an S-hook. Once I had it out I simply swapped the new assembly in and all was well. Tub does seem to drain a very little bit when the plunger is down, but I can't say I played with the adjustment much. Only other thing to add is this replacement assembly seems alot lighter weight than the original hardware. Will update in the future if product fails.

This looks like a good and sturdy product however it didn't work for my application and was returned.

Nicely made product. Know the diameter of the barrel before ordering. I have an older tub and the drain piping narrows down slightly so the barrel stopper won’t fit.

The brass weight is a little shorter & is less heavy than my 1950s replacement. I was able to use some parts from this one to repair my tub drain. Nice product.

Didn't seal properly. It was a bit too large. Eventually, I may change the bevel edge to fit/seal but for now, I reused the stopper from my old linkage assembly. All in all, good value.
