High-end product with great results!
I wish I would have discovered this years ago! My 5-year old Golden Retriever is a continual puller and makes it very unpleasant to go on walks. A friend recommended the Halti which goes over the muzzle. I was not comfortable with that, even though I know it works really well for some dogs. I decided to try one and my dog lost her mind on our first walk wearing it and got her paw caught in it while desperately trying to get it off. Being a horse owner in the past and being familiar with this brand's excellent products, I bought it as a last resort, along with the clasp that is sold separately. It was extremely frustrating trying to figure out the clasp which you must slide to one side and then pinch to release (I wish the company would give better instructions/videos to make this an easier task.) It has been a lifesaver now that the clasp issue is solved and I highly recommend!

Game changer
We got the collar for our 7 mos old lab puppy who pulled insanely during the walks. Nothing worked. We saw the reference to it in one of the YouTube video. The moment we put the collar on her, she became a different dog, behaving like a “lady”. The walks are enjoyable now. Before they were a torture. Been a month or two and the difference is huge. So happy we got it!

Sprenger Collar
Arrived as advertised. My dog trainer suggested to use this when I put my Boxer dog for rehab sessions with her. After the sessions were done, she suggested to continue using this when I’m walking the dog. It mimics the bite of a mother when she wants to pacify or control the behavior of her puppy. It looks like a weapon of terror but it doesnt hurt the neck or the dog, I used this whenever she gets fixated on a cat crossing or another dog she deems threatening. I pull up the chain and flick the strap to get her attention diverted and continue walking. It works very well.

Life-changer...right when I was about to break the bank
I am not sure that I have ever written a review for a product. If I have...I am not sure when the last time I did was. I was feeling pretty confident about my dog training skills. Between gentle-leaders and no-pull harnesses, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I have trained 5 previous dogs to walk calmly on a leash. Four of those dogs were all at once. "look at me and my skills!" I thought....walking all four of these lab-mixes all at once. For years. Calmly. And then... Bodhi (an 8 month old 65 lb golden retreiever/husky mix) came into my life and humbled me almost right onto my toosh onto a road with traffic. Because a dog was across the street with a bell on his collar and the excitement was just too much! First I used a no-pull harness. Then a gentle leader. Then a trainer I worked with in an obedience class recommended a martingale. It was useless. The gentle leader I used was the most effective, and that was still minimal and I felt like I was hurting him during corrections. We walk twice a day and I dreaded it. I thought I was a calm, cool dog owner. I fet like I was turning into a crazy person alternating between corrections and positive reinforcement on our walks. Although, my 14-year-old lab mix was loving all training treats she was getting alongside every attempt I made to reward Bodhi for positive behavior. I was convinced for months I was doing something wrong and feeling guilty and more defeated with every youtube video I watched about just needing to figure out better communication with my dog. I was on the verge of breaking the bank and sending him away to a 2-week board-and-train program. I heard prong collars were inhumane, but when I got desperate, I started to research them. In just ONE DAY, the results were immediate. And boy wagged his tail throughout the whole walk and just looked up at me when we saw another dog and gladly took treats instead of pulling. I watched multiple youtube videos about using this correctly before trialing it and introduced him to it in the backyard first. It feels sooooo much more humane than constant corrections and stopping and changing directions throughout our walks. It was calm and easy and I felt like ME again. The corrections were drastically less and we all were happy and calm throughout our walk. SO HAPPY I TRIED THIS. Nothing inhumane about it. And good learning for me about recognizing different methods for different dogs. We look forward to many calm, long walks in our future!

No more pulling!!
I have a male german shepherd and when I tell you he pulls, believe me he pullsss. Once he comes across another dog, there's no full control of him. I kept contemplating about this collar and decided to give it a try. Well, best decision since I noticed the difference right away. When he would see another dog, I would do a slight pull and he would automatically listen. I used little to no strength throughout the whole walk which made the walk enjoyable. (: My only issue is I struggle to put it on and take it off. :/

The best prong collar!!!
Best of all types of prong collars. This was recommended by my dog's trainer. It is meant to be slightly loose and hangs around my dog's neck. My dog is very smart but can be super stubborn- when I was training him to walk with a loose leash he didn't understand the cues. I was initially against a prong collar as I thought it would hurt my dog but in fact, my dog needed the mechanical feed back to not tug. My dog has 1 job when we are leisurely walking and that is to not pull- since the use of this prong collar, we've both have enjoyed our walks. I bought so many wrong prong collars so don't make the same mistake and get this brand. Worth every dollar and I even bought 3 to have every where.

Great Product for Training
I’ve been hesitant about using a prong collar for a few years now. We tried other training methods, but my dog still insisted on pulling every walk we took. We’re still in the early stages of using this method, but within 10 minutes he was making huge strides. Definitely recommend getting a quick release clip to attach to this. Wish it would come with one already attached.

Game changer!
I bought this collar on the recommendation of our dog trainer. My dog, honestly pulled so hard that I thought he’d dislocate my shoulder! I tried everything-gentle leader, chest harness, etc. Nothing worked until I got the prong collar. My trainer said the prongs mimic how a mother grabs at her pups necks as babies. Now we can walk peacefully with my puppy right at my side. The only negative is the collar is hard to get on & off.
