T 7 Plus

I researched this a while before buying and so pleased I did as it’s a brilliant piece of kit. The pedals on it that allow you to spray in front is ideal to wash away the excess dirty water quickly, something that the 5 series didn’t have. The different coloured lugs were easy to fit depending on the type of pressure washer you have (just watch a YouTube review first) it’s quite a sturdy piece of kit but you should still take care. Long and slow pushing forwards and backwards gets maximum results and so much less mess all round than using the dirt blaster. I’ve thoroughly cleaned my patio once with it and it’s ready now for summer use/ furniture etc. in between I can quickly use the dirt blaster to clear any debris quickly off my patio. I can highly recommend the 7 series T Racer; and for me playing a little extra for this model as opposed to the 5 series is worth it.

I recently purchased the Kärcher 2.644-074.0 T7 Plus T-Racer Surface Cleaner to help me keep my deck and patio clean during the summer months. I was impressed with the cleaning power of this device and the ease with which it tackled tough dirt and grime. The Kärcher T-Racer Surface Cleaner was easy to attach to my pressure washer and the spinning nozzles quickly and efficiently cleaned my outdoor surfaces. The wide cleaning head meant that I could finish cleaning large surfaces in no time, which was a huge time-saver. It also didn't leave any streaks or damage my surfaces, which I really appreciated. I was particularly impressed with how gentle it was on my deck, which can be quite delicate. It uniformly cleaned the surface, without stripping any of the wood grain or causing any kind of splintering. My deck looked brand new after cleaning with the Kärcher T-Racer Surface Cleaner. The only downside is that this accessory is a little expensive, but the durability and performance of the device make it worth the investment. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the Kärcher 2.644-074.0 T7 Plus T-Racer Surface Cleaner and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, efficient and gentle surface cleaner.

Previously I'd opted to use the lance to wash my paving and driveway - I've got one of the older K4 models. After getting covered in head to foot in mud and dirt a couple of weeks ago doing the patio, I opted to go for the Karchar T7 Plus T-Racer as a hopeful solution for cleaning the alleyway and drive without getting covered. Really easy to put together, really light to push around. Day #1 - the results on the concrete floor of the alleyway were amazing, with the T-Racer cutting through the grime with ease. I think the video ultimately provides an accurate indicator of results achieved within just a matter of minutes. At this point it was one of those purchases I wish I'd bought years earlier!!! Day #2 - following the success of the alleyway the day before, I then tried to clean the drive. The results were definitely good although overall I think the alleyway cleaned better. Unfortunately the durability of the T-Racer was highlighted whilst doing the drive, with 2 yellow plastic pieces from the underside of the cleaner breaking off during use. This seemed to happen when the T-Racer came into light contact with the raised edging of my drive, when moving in a left/right rather than forward/backward cleaning motion. Durability is a little disappointing however the small plastic pieces that have broken off don't appear to have stopped the T-Racer from doing a good cleaning job.

I was sceptical about how good this would be as I have always cleaned our patio area which is white concrete with broken glass in it with my karcher pressure washer using the lance. It would take me several hours to do. I would be covered in dirt as would everything nearby and soaked to the bone!! I can’t believe how good this thing is. It took me half an hour to clean it and I was clean and dry at the end!! It has great cleaning power and can clean at the edges and in to corners. It also has a function to spray all the dirty water away, all at the touch of a button. I wish I had bought this sooner!! I always got back ache from using the lance but with this my back was fine. I don’t normally write reviews but felt I had to with this product.

I’ve got an older model K4, this worked so much better than just the lance for cleaning the drive and patio. I had to change the inserts, which come in the box and is just a simple case of removing the cotter pins and swapping them out on the end of the rotating bar and is easy to do, takes 30 seconds. This is the first deck cleaner I’ve had so i can’t compare to any other model, however, I can say that this model makes cleaning so much faster and far less messy. I cleaned my drive & patio and also my mom’s patio (which is a decent size) in the same time it used to take just to clean my drive with the lance alone. The foot button on top that turns it into a sweeper is priceless and works really well. The corner jet, which is another button on the top, works ok but the lance does a better job imho. I figured out that the best method is a bit like painting a room, cut the edges first and then zip over the main area with deck cleaner attachment - which flies over a large area really quickly, and you don’t need to go slow, it lifts the dirt off really well with a moderate pace pulling it over the surface. If I had to be picky, I’d say Karcher should abandon the corner jet and sell the item cheaper with the saving, as it isn’t that useful. Where I was surprised was the double extension pieces, which I thought would be awkward and wobbly, but they actually work great and I found that using one of the extension pieces makes using the lance 100% easier, I couldn’t believe the difference! Everything else is just brilliantly better. Clean up is a delight - and wiping down doors and windows afterwards almost goes away, which is the bit I hate :-) HTH

Good product

I bought this item quite a while ago, but only used it this week, Can't believe how much easier it is than just jetwashing, the extensions make this so easy to use, the foot controls work well and the 'water brush' to move the dirty water away to clear the area is just something I can't believe that works so well. I have a K4 compact, not sure if I had to do it, but I swapped the nozzles for the yellow ones in the box as recommended on the instructions, didn't try the regular but the instructions imply its for the K5 and plus as default. Cleared a large 4 car driveway and around the side of a house along with some paths in under 2 hours, which also involved a lot of talking and moving things around, probably could of been done under an hour, I've spent a day cleaning an area a quarter the size of this before and done so less effectively! One thing, its not crazily powerful, but it cleans well but doesn't remove everything between brick paving, maybe the more powerful jet washes will do
