I love the size and shape of it, works great for retying my Sisterlocks. However, it isn’t stainless steel, and the description of the material is obscure. What is alloy? I’ve been retying my hair for the past 3 months for the first time, so I’ve done the whole process with this tool twice, and I’ve noticed some bumps, itching and irritation on my scalp, as well as the loss of the silver color on the tool. Now I wonder whether there is lead or nickel in it since this seems like and allergic reaction. Should have been made from stainless steel so we wouldn’t have to worry about any of this. Good product concept but thoughtless/careless on execution
