Amazon Basics 9 Volt Lithium High-Performance Battery, 10-Year Shelf Life, Long Lasting Power

Love these lithium batteries. Works great for my garage door keypad. We were having issues with the keypad when the temperature would get down in the 40s. Bought a new keypad and still had issues. Found out we needed to buy lithium batteries for the colder weather. We live in Wisconsin, so we knew it would only get colder and bought these. Haven’t had a problem since. Same battery for a few years now. Wish they would go back to selling the 2 pack. I don’t need a 4 pack.

I needed a lithium battery to replace the fire alarm battery in the shop after resetting it twice a day for a couple months because I just hate messing with fire alarm batteries. Some of them go into full blown fire alarm mode as soon as you remove the old battery, and it's completely ear and nerve shattering. This Amazon basic battery fit perfectly and no more beeping every 8 hours. A small victory in Gilda's life of just one thing after another :)

Amazon makes just about everything I can think of and fully supports there movement! From batteries to clothes and I’m also a shareholder!! Amazon if you see this, feel free to have me sample out anything new you start making and I will promise to leave an honest opinion on whatever it is. By the way. So far so good on the 9 volt battery! No limits to Amazon’s moves creating them a huge asset to consumers and any government contracts they have inline.

These are the best lithium batteries I've found so far. I used the Energizer Lithium before, and they didn't last very long.I tested all 12 batteries when they arrived, each one was 9.64v +/- 0.1v with a couple of them as high as 9.66v. I installed 10 of them in smoke detectors and after 2 years, they are all still running fine. I just tested the 2 that I put in storage and they have not changed at 9.64v +/- 0.1v. Awesome!Highly recommended!

Have not started to use yet. But two years of its shelf life is already gone.

The combination of long shelf life and internal chemistry that won't corrode over time makes this worth getting.

The best thing is that the battery keeps full power for a long time. Regular batteries lose their power little by little, so the performance of the metal detector drops while the battery is still "good." However, that does not happen with this battery. The power will drop off all at once, so I will be able to change batteries and start all over again rather than having just a brief time of full power. I wish it lasted longer--the next time I will keep a log to see exactly how many hours it takes to discharge.

Battery works as expected for a pet no-bark item purchased from Amazon. It émis a tone that interrupts barking, so having a long life battery is a must for apartment living. Barking would be a problem where I live, so this battery has already lasted longer than the previous battery! Yay, “No bark.”
