Pros: The android suite that is installed is google oriented. This may or may not be a good thing, if you are/not a google fan.-System apps can not be removed, but that's standard these days.-You have lots of choice in the ram/version of android you want to pay for.-I find the sound quality is fine, my mom is pleased with the photo quality.-I use this phone at work. It gets dirty, dropped and submerged on a regular basis. So far, most retired as a result of bad screens. They still turn on, those brave soldiers. But I just can't see the screen. One had a charging issue which was the cable, not the phone. One had a mic issue, then got stepped on.-I don't need a mortgage to replace it if it does die; I also found a potential repair shop, so I can send the previous models in later if I get the time. (Folks, we need a blackview repair shop in the UK. Business idea! I will be your first customer!)-BEST OF ALL, IT USES A STANDARD USB Charger!!! Ideally, the charger needs a longer shank, so you might not find a magnetic charger to fit, but I can charge all the phones on the SAME CHARGER! Plastic films are also available for most models as well as gorrilla glass.-I have not detected any data harvesting of the like was found on Huawei phones; be careful with your apps folks. But maybe someone more proficient should look into that.Cons: You can't open the bezel yourself to replace the battery, as it is one piece of rubber moulded to the phone. I get 1-2 years of good charging out of them.-If you damage the edge wrap, then the screen is vulnerable to cracking. The digitizer keeps working fine, and you can just put a film over the splintered glass, but try to avoid damaging the corners.-your android version is a one off purchase, so you may have to pay to upgrade.-if you only got 16-32 gb of ram, then your phone might not be able to support too many apps. But that's not a phone issue is it. You can get an expanding sd card.-the speakers and mic can get clogged with dust or get a wee drop of water in it, which may not ever dry out. Then the sound will be affected. If you try to dig stuff you, you may well damage the little screen that is in the hole. I imagine a hoover would have worked better? Anyway, moral of the story is to keep it in a "clean pocket" that zips. Not your dirt filled, straw filled, odd nuts and bolts pocket.

I was looking for an unlocked tough phone to replace my ageing Samsung Xcover phone. After reviewing several options I picked the BV5500Plus. I have been "playing" with it over the past 24 hours and so far I am finding it easy to use and I am pleased with the screen quality, GPS feature and network connectivity. I live in a rural location and connectivity can be unreliable but so far I am pleased with it.One niggly problem was transferring my Micro SD card from my old phone to the new one. The SD card needed to be re-formatted to be usable, so it meant Ihad to copy all files to PC then format the SD card and copy the data over from my PC. Required a few settings changes to make it accessible. Once resolved it has been fine. Final comment....so far so good !

Got this phone for my son who is 10, so wanted something that can with stand the force of a boisterous young man, this bad boy has a very solid feel to it, the case feels like you could drop it off a mountain. It's waterproof as well, so no doubt it will be in the hot tub next summer!! The specs of the phone are very good, it won't run fortnite but what do you expect for this cash. Over all very pleased with it - I've read some reviews where they mention the rubber port covers - these are needed to stop water getting into the ports etc... but a tool is provided in he box to pop them open, but these days people re switching to bluetooth headsets so apart from charging, which this is also nfc, it's not an issue.

I bought this phone in January after searching extensively over the internet. I am a frugal spender who does not like to spend huge amount of money on phones neither I am a heavy screen user.The phone is heavy so I would need to plug ear phones as can’t hold the phone for more than few minuets as its quite sturdy and heavy like a brick. Easy to use, came in a white box with Ear plugs and charger. Voice quality, volume, fast processor, and camera quality is good. Battery runs for a whole day but you would need to charge every other day if you are using it. My phone internet speed quality improved as I used hotspot for my work.This phone comes with 2 year warranty. Customer service is responsive only until we you give them a positive review. After that, if you would like to avail your free gift, they will never respond you. I have received a £30 money voucher even from the company as amazon messed up with the delivery big time and they never compensate.Its been 3 months and so far, apart from battery and customer service, I do not see any issues in the phone.

All it does is to hit a nail if you are missing a hammer...Battery dies in 10min and takes a day to charge the phone.The performance of the software is horrible. It doesn't respond to any action. Tap, wait 10sec, tap wait 10sec... Turn phone on wait an hr. Purchased and then put in the bin. What a horrible phone. YCheap phone buyers, if you are rich enough to buy cheap, purchase it...

The phone has been used in a dirty & dusty work environment for a week & it seems to live up to the manufacturers claims. Its solid & reliable & appears to be well put together. It operates smoothly & with an SD inserted allows ample memory space for any additional apps that may be required, whilst retaining plenty of storage space. The 2 year warranty policy is impressive as is the phone presentation, price & packaging. At this price point, this phone & the manufacturer back up is very impressive.

very fast delivery first of all, excellent service and the product is very good. easy to use, to set up and copy old info across.comes with spare screen protector probably won't need it as the screen is very tough.

Started off good after few weeks won't charge properly so charger porter arnt great on this phone .
