Kept my fish alive and healthy while I was away
Just got home from a 5 day trip and I put 3 of these in my 65 gallon tank and they worked great. I have 20+ medium sized fish (skirt tetras, pearl gourami, 10 cory catfish etc) and 20+ mystery snails in our tank. There was some of each feeder remaining when I returned. They could certainly last a couple more days. I left them in there as my snails seem to be enjoying them. Fish are healthy and water is still clean. I have used other weekend feeders in the past and they didn't seem to work as well as these did. Defiantly recommend.

Algae growing on feeder block
I have a question about the Aqueon Vacation Feeder. We were gone for a week and returned to find algae growing on the feeder block. Is this normal?

Bought to feed fish while on vacation, worked perfectly

Dead fish
Used it for vacation for 8 days. Came back and my daughter’s fish was dead. Her snails were okay (they can eat algae/waste), so it seems to me that the fish either couldn’t eat or had a bad reaction.

Cloudy
It kept the fish fed but made the tank really cloudy.

Excellent product
Worked as described, fish were happy and after it was removed, the fish kept looking for it. Would have lasted longer than 7 days, and will definitely use again.
