Math for Nurses: A Skill-Builder and Reference Guide for Dosage Calculation

Just what a nursing student need for dosage calculation course!

Hadn't had to have a 'math mind' in a long time. Going back to school to become a Nurse (career change) and needed something to work through prior to classes beginning (Nursing Calculations and Dosages, etc). This is a great way to review my deficiencies so that when I start in the fall I will be able to stay up on all the assignments. Easy to read directions, great examples and organized in a manner that makes sense. Answers explained sufficiently. I would rec. this book and this seller as I got my new book much sooner than they said I would and it is brand new.

Have only begun using it but I found a simple mistake in the basic arithmetic division example problems. just remember to always double check your answers on a calculator if you see that your answer did not match the book. Looking through the book i like that it has lots of practice problems and quizzes which is what i was looking for.

This book is very good. Finished reading it in year 2015 and I got this another copy for my friend.

Good for remembering the basics. I wish it had more questions for the harder styles of problems

Great review, starts easy and gradually gets harder , I found it very easy to follow along and loved the explanations in the answer keys.

First few chapters are basic basic math which I could do without. but the rest of the book has real nursing examples... love Kaplan products.
