Grateful product that I used to insulate the clean out door on the chimney for my woodstove. Easy to cut to size.

Great bricks for the price!

The brick arrived on time and in great condition. Just what I need to soldering.

Based on several recommendations, I used several of these to make my first forge. They work great, but boy, are they fragile! Especially when a little uneven tension is applied! VERY easy to crack/split.

Have a very old kiln and the cover was broken. The firebricks replaced the broken firebricks and the lid works perfectly.

Durable and easy to cut

This was exactly as described, so this is not a complaint. The 2300f brick is very lightweight, porous and somewhat soft. It's dusty, and rightfully contains health warnings about inhaling the dust which includes silica. It's well packaged in bubble wrap and plastic, and clearly labeled. I probably should have ordered the 3000F brick for my purposes, since I think I'd prefer something more dense and durable, but they sell those too, so the choice was mine entirely. Read the chart to decide for yourself what you need. I don't have any way to test the properties, but I have no reason to doubt it. I'm giving it a 5 star rating based on the information I have.

Packaged with each brick in a separate cardboard enclosure and delivered in two days by UPS, no bricks were broken. Since it was raining UPS even brought the two heavy boxes around to the back door porch to keep them dry. Bricks are perfect for a lost wax burn out oven I'm building.
