CAHAYA Electric Guitar Hard Shell Case - Portable Square Hardshell for Standard Electric Guitar - Black

I purchased this case for a Jackson JS22 Dinky, which fit perfectly. Price and Quality is better than my Gator guitar case. Solid build, no smell. Everything about this case is perfect. Unlike my Gator case it stands perfectly upright because they installed four feet on the hinge side and another four feet on the flat side. It also locks and contains a nice layer of foam with felt over it to keep the guitar from moving around. It also has a nice sized storage pocket inside for your guitar cable, picks, tuner, extra strings and tools. And it's light weight. I highly recommend this case! You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny!

Well made for the price. Measure your guitar in every direction they show. My PSR CE-24 fits nicely with only about 1/2 an inch extra on each side of the lower body and about 2" extra in height above the head. The neck rest holds the head off of the bottom so the tuning keys don't touch. I think the PRS has a common amount of head angle offset so I would expect this will hold true for any common Fender/Gibson style guitars. Some cases look just like this but only have 12" width for the lower body. Mine would not have fit. The latches close easily, but securely. The inner box for extra storage is sturdy and about as big as it can be without compromising the neck support or guitar body space.

Great case, but very heavy. Sturdy and plenty of room for extra cables, strings, tuners, etc. Even fits my guitar stand up by the neck. Definitely recommend.

This case has honestly gone beyond my expectations. It has protected my ibanez insanely well I am very happy with it in both quality and materials used

This is in no way a long term review and is just first thoughts. With that out of the way, the case seems pretty nice. there was a slight blemish on it when I was taking it out of the box (pictured below) but I mean it’s a case and an 80$ case at that so I’m not gonna ding it for that. The padding doesn’t seem crazy thick however I don’t think it’s gonna cause an issue down the line. Depending on your body style ie my schecter c1 it may float slightly both on the body side and the neck support leaving the head stock to take the weight and although that bothers me, again it’s an 80$ hard case so this is something I’m just gonna solve with a cloth. The storage compartment is pretty large although not pictured I think I could probably fit some cleaner and a few rags, picks, ect. Another thing I wanna mention is that an 8 string actually fits better than my 6 string which I found kind of funny and no one talked about in the reviews so a big win for us 8 string players. To sum up my rambling; time will tell how this holds up but for now I would probably buy another one of these!

Pretty good for what I paid. I little bit snug for my Squire Classic Vibe Jazzmaster, but its a good snug. It's not airline travelling quality but it's not advertised to be so and for the price -- it's 100% good to go so far.

Arrived on time in in great condition. No smell, as others have complained. At this price point, I don't think you can beat it? Fits my Reverse Jaguar (41" long 14" wide) no problem! If you are a traveler, or have roadies? Anty-up for a road case. But for the occasional gig, and storage, this is fine. If it falls apart for no reason I'll update this review.

I was looking for something basic to carry my electric guitar. I decided on this case. I was happy until I opened the case. There is a storage compartment inside that opens by pulling a leather tag that has the CAHAYA name on it. The compartment lid is held in place by an MDF type material that is covered in the same fabric as the rest of the inside. (about 14*1 1/4 * 5/8). The problem: The piece of MDF was crooked. A screw holds the piece in place with a screw at each end. The screw on one end was exposed. It had pulled through the MDF which was also split. Now, after having said all of that, I will say this. This is an economy hard case, but is a good case for the money. Also, with the inside of the case being black, I can see the flaw being difficult to see at the factory. I’m a DIY person. As I like the case, I’m planning on keeping it and replacing the MDF with a piece of wood from Lowe’s. If I was interested in purchasing this case, I wouldn’t let the problem I had, stop you from doing so. I think you’ll be perfectly happy.
