Update 2/21/25:After expressing my dissatisfaction with this beard oil the seller contacted me. They offered a full refund, but I opted for them to send me a replacement bottle of this oil, which they did promptly. At first, even after shaking it several times just like the first bottle, the replacement did not have any scent to it at all. I had my wife smell it, and she could not detect a sandalwood scent either. On another day, I shook the bottle both upright and upside down along with squeezing the dropper into the bottle several times. After that, voila! The sandalwood scent appeared! And it is, indeed, a very nice scent.So, I have to admit I was wrong about the oil having no scent. Evidently, the fragrance precipitates out very easily, and you have to really mix this oil well to reveal the scent. It’s worth the effort, though, as the scent is really very nice. As such, I clearly rate this beard oil 5 stars for its quality, the quality of the seller, and its very affordable price.************************I bought this beard oil because I use beard oil to keep my beard soft, I love sandalwood scent, and this brand costs about half as much as other brands. When it arrived today I couldn’t wait to try it out. It comes in a generously sized bottle and well packaged. It does not feel greasy. After applying it, my beard immediately felt softer. My only complaint is this beard oil has literally no scent. None. Very disappointing.Bottom line: this beard oil is not greasy and softens your beard quickly, but it is falsely advertised as scented.

Reasonable ingredients, good smell, good feel. Most important effective. The sandalwood smell is not overly soft and closer to rosewater like some sandalwood products are.

Gives my beard a great shine and smells amazing ( if you like vanilla), my beard is very coarse and curls up and tangles easily. This product makes my beard soft and light feeling.

i really like this oil. This is the third brand i have tried and i believe it makes my beard the softest. The others are good as well but i think this one is a bit better for my beard.Your results may differ.Also I get about twice as much for less with the S.V. brand. so there is that.

My son-in-law loves this product so when I needed something for him I instantly thought of this!

I've used "beard balm" on my beard, but I have never used "beard oil" on it. I decided to give it a try and I ordered this one from Striking Viking. Right off the get go, I was disappointed that it doesn't have much of a scent at all. I expected it to at least have a little bit of a manly scent, but to me, it is almost scentless. Like I said, it was the first time I have used beard oil, and maybe all beard oils are like this. After using it for a few days, I don't really see where its made any difference at all in my beard, but I'll keep using it until it's all gone. Perhaps I'll see a difference after using it for a few weeks. That said, I wish it had more of a scent than it has. That will most likely be the reason that I don't reorder it.

This stuff is really good, I got the unscented one cause I have a cat. I use this with their unscented beard balm as well and it keeps my beard soft for a little over 12hrs. It feels healthier too.
