This ramp is hefty and well-made, and exactly to specs as described. The door this abuts was originally scraping the top of the ramp a tiny bit, but within a day the flashing had adapted just enough to eliminate that. I purchased extra-strong double-sided tape to ensure that the ramp doesn't budge from the smooth laminate floor it is on. In addition to being important for wheeled mobility devices, the ramp eliminates the (outbound) trip hazard of our 1.2" door sill and provides extra "runway" for crossing the door sill by foot. It did need to off-gas, but the rubbery odor was gone in a day or two. It feels pleasant under our feet -- just a tiny bit of spring.

This was easy to install and works well for our household. We have a heavy battery powerchair and a garage with wildly uneven door frames. This is the best and safest ramp we've gotten to make it easy and safe to get that chair outside! It is slip resistant but you will want to use a heavy duty double sided rubber tape to help hold it in place. It was the perfect size for the entryway we needed to install it; measure twice, order once! It has a light rubber odor that has dissipated over time;not really an issue. Worth its weight in gold in our house.

This worked perfectly for my dad’s wheelchair. It slid against the door threshold and stayed in place. It made it so much easier to get him in and out of the house! Great quality.

I went through to other brands of putty Soft threshold ramps that came rolled up and were worthless. This one comes in a long box and is rigid, yet still easy to cut to size. Don't waste your money, this is the one that will work the best and last the longest. I'm very impressed.

This lift works great. My husband is in a wheelchair and had difficulty getting out our back door. My son showed me which size lift to order and initially thought it wasn't enough, but it works perfectly. He does not struggle anymore getting over the door jam.

These are well made, sturdy and actually attractive on our handmade cherry floors. We have wide, tapered threshholds but my husband's wheelchair still gets hung up at the edge, where the chair has to lift up 1/4 to 1/3". We got the lowest ramps for either side and they're a perfect, smooth transition. When they're clean(!) the surface has a nice shine and really doesn't detract from the beauty of the floors. Aged cherry and black go really nicely together. Probably the best purchase I've made on Amazon over the last many years.

They say the 3rd time is a charm. This is the 3rd one that I've received. The threshold is 1.5" but the other two had a higher rise than than stated. While they were only a little more than than the 1.5" it was enough to keep the door from shutting. This one is a little under 1.5"; the door shuts perfectly. So glad to be done returning these things.
