So I looked to Joe and I bought this book and started following the recipes and WOW, they actually tasted great and not one was khaki green. :) Now I'm just living and juicing. I still juice at least one of my meals three times a week and follow a Vegetarian and mostly organic diet. I still have more weight to go, so I'll probably pick up my pace a little. The thing is these recipes are delicious, filling and so good for you! The energy from juicing is unreal and went from nearly falling asleep at my boring job, to taking ownership of it and getting noticed for it, actually got a raise! Now I'm saying that juicing and Joe is going to lead to a raise, but when you are awake and feeling amazing, I think it attracts all the right stuff into your life. GOTTA Juice with Joe!
I love Joe Cross. Juicing changed my life. I lost 36 pounds in 3 months. I juiced everyday, but did eat, salads, veggies, and healthy organic foods. This juice book and Joe Cross's documentary had really changed my life. I am 49 years old. I went to the doctor in October 2015 I had all my blood work completed. A variety of simple juice recipes
There are a lot of juice recipes in this book. The book is constructed in a notepad style which can sit on top of a table or countertop and be easily paged through. The recipes are divided into the following categories: Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Purple. Basically, the fruits and vegetables are categorized into different color groups and you use this system in conjunction with his website to lose weight. His website is a big resource and he has a lot of free stuff on there to help you reboot your lifestyle. The website even has nutritional plans and guides online to help you get started. You just have to pick the one that fits your lifestyle and goals. They even provide a shopping list and time schedule on the website. I also like how the book just has recipes right on each page. It is simple and to the point. No need to read through endless prose or paragraphs of history that you see in other books. You can also supplement this book with free juice recipes online. Just checkout the Reboot website and do a simple Google search. If you just need some simple juice recipes without the fluff, then this book is for you.

Great recipes
When I first received the book, I thumbed through all the recipes, and found it very exciting. I'm new to juicing, and thought this would be a great addition to our household recipe collection. At first, I was very put off that the spiral binding was on the top of the pages, I was expecting a left to right type of book with the spiral binding on the side. Once I started playing with it, I realized is has it's own cardboard stand, and now this book has a permanent place on our countertop for daily juicing. Each recipe has a code at the top of the page, stating whether it is good for rebooting etc., and what conditions it helps, such as GERD, diabetes, cancer, etc. It also includes nutritional information, and the recipes are divided by the colors of the juice, which is good for me because I'm a visual/textural foodie. Overall, I'm very happy with the book. I've only given it four starts because I haven't tried many of the recipes yet.

Helpful, No Frills, I Recommend
I have been researching juice fasting and different recipes on Pinterest for the past week, and stumbled across this recipe booklet. I debated ordering this because let’s face it, there are a ton of recipes you can find online. However, I found myself getting a bit overwhelmed and decided to order it. I’m actually really glad I did. The recipes are organized by color (eat/drink the rainbow, right?), so I just went through them all, picked a colorful variety of juices, and easily made my menu and shopping list for the week. This booklet is no frills (which I like), however I do want to point out two features that Joe included which are awesome. First, each recipe lists what conditions/ailments the juice is beneficial for. Second, there’s a substitution list for all the fruits/veggies in the book which is great in case a fruit listed is out of season or I run out of something mid-week. All in all, I’m happy I purchased this recipe book and recommend it to others who may also feel overloaded with all the juicing info out there. I feel a lot more prepared to start my journey and look forward to feeling better!

Definitely Worth Purchasing!
Periodically, one or more members of my family will go on a juicing or smoothie binge. Normally I juice and drink smoothies regularly and I use whatever we have in the house. However, when a family member wants to get healthy on his/her own, I get excited. Earlier this year, my least healthy child, my 16 year old daughter decided she wanted to try to clean up her diet a bit and do a short juice fast. We found plenty of recipes and support on the Reboot with Joe website, but I wanted to make sure she had whatever she needed for success so I purchased a couple of Joe Cross books including the “101 Juice Recipes” published September 16, 2013. I didn’t expect it to be that useful since Joe Cross publishes so many of his recipes online, but this cardboard stock book loaded with beautiful pictures amazed me with its usefulness! Just about all of the 101 Juice Recipes were brand new to us and most of them used produce we could easily source even in southern Alabama. Recipes are organized by color and provide information about which ones are useful for fasting, for energizing during workouts, for avoiding if you have diabetes, etc. The provided recipes gave me, an extremely confident and adventurous cook anyway, the confidence to try juicing foods I never would have considered previously. In fact, so many of my current favorite juices came directly out of or were inspired by this book! My absolute favorite contains fennel, kale, celery, and orange and I never would have tried this combination on my own! I am extremely glad I purchased this recipe book and I constantly recommend it to friends who decide to start juicing.

My strategy is to eat a good breakfast everyday
I also got this as a phone app, so I have it twice. It is handy to have and has been a big help, particularly at the grocery store, when I want to try a new recipe. Most of the recipes tell you "makes 2 servings" - I think the quantity size is smaller than my personal estimation. However, I just double everything anyway and get enough juice to last me a couple of days so I don't have to spend the clean-up time daily. I'm 32 lbs. lighter than when I started 5 months ago, and still going strong. I'm almost 62 yrs old, and walk several times a week and do tai-chi. I'm considering going back to the gym when I reach my next milestone and work on building muscle. My strategy is to eat a good breakfast everyday, juice for lunch 6 days/week and juice for dinner 4 nights/week. For 3 nights, I eat dinner, but since my stomach has shrunk, my portions are naturally smaller. I'm eating healthier, and I now eat more vegetables and less meat. However, I have no plans to give up meat, I'm just liking vegetables more than I used to. Maybe my weight loss isn't as fast as other people, but I'm making a lifestyle change that can work for me on a long-term basis. I found a great juicer on Craig's List, almost brand new at half-price to help save money. And my grocery bill is ridiculously cheaper these days. I feel good, my blood pressure is better and my cholesterol numbers are moving in the right direction. I would recommend this Kindle product to anyone.

25 RECIPES TRIED - 76 TO GO!!!
I began juicing after seeing the "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" movie on Netflix. I have a family history of Cancer, Diabetes, Obesity and Heart Problems and recently had a health scare where all signs pointed to serious lung and heart Issues. Thank God, there isn't anything wrong that still can't be fixed, but it proved quite frighteningly that it was time to get off my victim-oriented butt and do something to change where my life was heading. I cannot describe the change that took place in my body and spirit after I began juicing. The first day, I was a little nauseated. But the second day, it was like I had cut 10 years off my life - my energy level had increased, thinking was clearer and my mental/mood state improved. One month later, I am a new woman, I've lost weight, I've gained energy and mental clarity. But most of all, I have hope that even at 54 years of age, I might get to experience the younger years of fun and energy I missed while caring for dying parents, working two jobs and raising a son as a single parent. The recipes in this book are amazing, simple and tasty. And unlike other books/recipes, etc - all of the nutrient values/calories/srvng sizes are included - as well as, the physical ailments/diseases they help address. It is a must have for those who wish to change their life for the better.

Excellent variety of recipes. Great format. Visually fantastic.
Great choice of different recipes, sturdy construction, easy spiral bound format, great photos and illustrations, super easy to use/ flick through/ find a recipe. My husband and I both did 10 day juice fasts a couple of months ago after seeing the documentary on netflix and lost 1 and a half stone between us, and as we eat healthily and exercise regularly neither of us have put any weight back on since. However after Christmas we may need to do another one in the new year as we both plan to engage in holiday feasting with family on the special occasions. On the website rebootwithjoe.com where the plans and recipes are given for free after completing days 6-15 (10 days) of the free 15 day plan we found some of the juices were delicious and amazing (such as Carrot apple Ginger, any with fresh beet root and Sunrise Juice) whereas others, usually the very green based ones, were not particularly nice. We stomached them for the 10 day juice fast, but wouldn't incorporate them into our long term diets, so having this book has been really useful to find alternative recipes, especially for when on a reboot or juice fast, (as to be a suitable juice to substitute a meal for on a reboot juice fast, the juice needs to be heavily veg based and not all fruit). In this book the juices are clearly marked as reboot juices, or not. Really great book. Worth buying. Oh and the beet root juices, since we have incorporated them into our daily lives (no longer for weight loss, but because we genuinely enjoy them so much) we have found give us amazing levels of energy! I trained high impact cardio daily throughout my juice fast too, and was never tired once (infact I never experienced any side effects at all! ) Experiment and see for yourselves!

Great book - highly recommend
I needed more recipes with calorie and nutrient counts. This meets the bill. I like the quality of this standup book - it's in my kitchen on the counter near the juicer. The only thing that doesn't work for me and it's the same with other juicing recipe products is the serving sizes. They are rarely correct but this could be a problem of regional fruit and vegetable sizing disparities. Anyway, great book with a lot of fantastic recipes. I'm pleased to have the sugar counts in particular for all of the recipes. Thanks!
