Q: Does this work with an alienware area 51M ?

Yes, this dock works an Alienware area 51M since an Alienware area 51M has a Thunderbolt 3 port.

Q: Is it possible to connect a pc via the second thunderbolt 3 connection whilst also having a laptop connected? effectively making a usb hub for the pc?

No that won't work, at least I've tried it with 2 Macs and only 1 will work at a time for display or drives. The 2 back thunderbolt ports are essentially input/output. The 85watt one has an image of a screen on it, the other only the thunderbolt image so I think they're configured as upstream/downstream and power delivery. The front 2 USB-C I have no issues with charging though only 1 of those is power Delivery at 18Watts.

No, it is not compatible with the iPad Pro M1 (5th generation, 2021, 12.9"). For the smooth performance of this dock, we don't recommend using this dock with the iPad Pro M1 (5th generation, 2021, 12.9"). So sorry for all the inconvenience and thank you for your interest.

Q: Does it share internet connection via usb if the ethernet is connected to the router?

Please plug the ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the dock for internet connection.
