Consistent Flavor And Quality
This Iberia cooking SHERRY works well for my omelettes and other dishes. Not an overwhelming flavor, which is exactly what I need. Thank you.

Very Good Quality Versatile Cooking Wine at a Low Cost
Why so many negative Reviews? This product is a Cooking Wine, not to be confused with a Beverage Wine, otherwise used in cooking. Similar to Japanese Mirin, both are formulated saltier and sweeter to prevent oxidation, and will help to break down tissues in proteins, and most other ingredients. Otherwise, drinkable wines that have begun to oxidize are usually sent to the kitchen and used as "cooking wines", but would you really want to use a questionable wine in your recipe? I'd rather use a product such as this formulated for the specific purpose.

Plastic bottles for easy kitchen storage.
Wanted cooking Sauternes, this was the closest I could find in Missouri. Plastic bottles, perfect for storing but taste was a little different than what I needed.

Cannot get a better price, period.
Like others, I was a bit worried this might taste like crap wine or soured vinegar, but that’s so far from the truth. You cannot find a better bargain for three bottles at this price. Sure, there’s preservatives and even your high-end wines also contain preservatives. Unless you’re paying well over $150 for organic, your wine will have some type of preservatives. To be honest, I do cook with high-end wines, that is, IF the recipe is to highlight a wine flavor, such as Beef Bourguignon, for example. The taste of the Iberia white wines is mellow and with a slight butter flavor. It does not have an acid bite, nor a sour aftertaste. I primarily use this for long cooking soups, stews, and any recipe that has a four hour or more cook. For my Instant Pot, Ninja Foodi, stovetop, etc., I find the wine flavor compliments recipes that are cooked for at least 10-20+ minutes. I, personally, would not use it for a wine-based flavor for a filet mignon or prime rib sauce. I’ve had it opened in the fridge for 5 days and it has not gone rancid. I’ve now purchased this three-bottle steal of a cooking wine three times and I hope Iberia and Amazon continue to keep it for sale.
