Zakx, Customer Service Mgr, sent me a 2nd stick. Returned the 1st cuz it may be defective. This one is GREAT. Stick extended with no effort and could easily be locked! Most importantly, hooked the wire into the earphone jack on my iPhone 5, again without exerting any effort, took a foto and IT WORKED. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS STICK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ALL. And thank you Zakx for working with me to my fullest satisfaction.

After taking a few photos, I decided to adjust the angle of my phone to get some different shots. After the adjustment, I retightened the knob to secure the angle of the holder and the plastic piece that retains the nut cracked. Now, it is extremely difficult to tighten the knob without the nut just spinning. I suppose I could carry a wrench with me at all times but instead, I think I will just toss this thing.

Finally used it after purchase, worked great with Android phone. Not complicated. My husband figured out how to hold it, so the pole wouldn't show.

Will not work on larger phones

I have tried a few selfie sticks – wired and Bluetooth but the 7th Shift selfie stick stands out..Firstly, the unique design of the pole with a “twist and lock” feature is excellent. I love it! This selfie stick is light and sturdy – even when attaching a Samsung Note 3 the stick remained sturdy.The simplicity of just plugging in the headphone jack to my phone without having to sync devices or downloading software is such a pleasure. However, the camera settings on Samsung’s need to be changed. The instructions for this are provided accurately in the instruction manual, found in the packaging.It is easy to use and thankfully there is no charging required. The thought of having to charge another device before leaving home is such a bother.The packaging is neat - each item in the box has its own section comprising of extras viz. A strap that can be attached to the bottom of the selfie stick that provides a more secure grip as well as a little black bag to store my selfie stick.This selfie stick is compact, durable and easy to use AND it is sold at an unbelievably reasonable price.Overall this is an excellent and neat product. This 7th Shift Selfie Stick is an excellent selfie stick for a mobile phone. I was sent this to review, and I really like if for phones.I have a number of GoPro and action camera selfie sticks/monopods that I really like because they are stronger than many of the phone selfie sticks that are the silver aluminum and just not as sturdy. This is one of the first that is very sturdy that is made just for phones. It doesn't have the end that will hold a GoPro camera or other small camera, but that is okay. This is for phones and for that, it is excellent.The phone holder holds my iPhone 6 plus securely and I have no doubt it will hold it at its greatest length. Plug it into the earphone slot and you are ready to take pictures without worrying if the Bluetooth is charged or paired.If you are looking for a selfie stick for your phone, I can easily recommend this one.

This is a great selfie stick and I am very happy with my purchase. I love that it doesn't have to be charged or pair with Bluetooth but you can still use the button on the stick to take a picture. My previous selfie stick became a pain to pair every time I used it. When I want a picture i want it quickly. I had resorted to using the timer on my phone instead of the shutter button. This selfie stick has a cord to connect and works well quickly. It folds up to a reasonable size and seems to be made of good quality materials. The stick is grippable. All around, I think this is a good purchase and would make a great gift.I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. My opinions are my own.
