Worked with HP laserjet 4000
Plug into my 27 year old workhorse HP laserjet 4000T and my widows 11 system immediately recognised the printer.

Died after a few days
I have to call them the way I see them. I purchased this to be able to print to a "never dying" HP LaserJet 1100. It worked for a few days and then stopped working. Nothing seemed to reset it or make it work again. It was a low-cost roll of the dice and it did not work for me. I did try another similar low cost product which has been working for about a month now.

Parfait !
Impeccable !!!

Amazing. It just works!
Built a new Windows box, and no one uses LPT ports anymore. Well, no one except guys like me who have an old HP6 from 1999. I plugged the printer into the cable, plugged the USB side of the cable into the computer, turned on the printer, and bam, done. I figured that I would at least have to search around for a printer driver somewhere, as I'm running Windows 11 Pro. But I didn't; it just worked immediately, HP6 shows up in Device Manager. Way too easy! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much for the price of the cable. I'm very happily surprised!

Worked instantly with Win11 laptop
When my old desktop used as a print server finally gave up I ordered this cable to connect my Win11 laptop to my old HP 1100 Laserjet. Printer was automatically detected and ready to use. Much easier than expected! :)
