HEXBUG nano V2 Neon Infinity Loop - Motorized Robotic Bugs for Kid's, Autonomously Controlled Children's Toy with Batteries Included

I bought this to entertain my cat, who is crazy for Hexbug toys. My only complaint about it is that there are too many ways for the bugs to escape, and it took a few tries to enclose the bottom tray enough so that I don't have to supervise it constantly (duct tape would cover the openings, but it hasn't come to that as a solution yet). I set it up when I'm preparing my cat's meals, so the bugs are less likely to get under appliances than when they're loose in the kitchen. Of course, the cat grabs the bugs from the tray, but I can hear when she's chasing them around the room. It can be set up in a carpeted room as well, where escaped bugs get stopped by the carpeting. Overall, this is fun for cats (and people)!

Very neat little toy. 9 yo who is constantly bored was very entertained by this for some time. If your hex bugs batteries are low though they can wedge themselves in the tubes with another bug though which is frustrating for the kids. We had 4 or five running around at once so that mught have been the issue! Both kids girl age 7 and boy age 9 loved it, and s did both the cats!

I ordered this for Christmas for my 7 year old son, who doesn't really play with toys very often. He actually really liked it and played around with it for hours. It's not as flimsy as it looks, it actually feels pretty sturdy. The loop comes with a V2 Nano bug, which is great because you don't have to buy any to go along with it. It also comes with the batteries for the V2 bug. The V2 is different than the original because it can climb, as well as crawl all over.There are a few things that I consider to be issues, but wouldn't change my mind about purchasing it. Sometimes you have to tap the bug to put it back on track so it'll keep crawling it's loop. The fun factor would probably be higher if I bought him other habitats to connect and a few more bugs.All in all, a great purchase, and I would do it again.

9 year old bday gift for a child who had 7 Hex bugs and no track- the track works well and he and his sister have a lot of fun with this gift.

Provides hours of entertainment.

My son loves this for his hex bugs!!! You have to use the ones that have the two feelers on the top of the body. This allows the bug to grip and go upside down through the tunnels. The regular bugs with only legs on the bottom of the body will not climb. Great gift!

My grand nephew had these so I got this set for my 3 yo grandchildren. My niece said the tubes were not as excellent as the bug themselves. I agree. The smaller loop seems too tight. The bugs get stuck at the tube joints, but picking up and tilting helps them restart. You can tilt this small set, but would probably be impossible with a larger layout. The bugs seemed to navigate the tubes a little better after 5 minutes of play. Bugs are small and can be easily lost under furniture, so I highly recommend adult supervision for younger children. My grand nephew mostly makes mazes with blocks, like Legos, for the bugs to navigate rather than the tubes.

Keeps my 4 year old entertained for long periods of time. She goes back to this toy repeatedly. Offers many alternatives to switch the track up a bit. Just wish it had a few spare "connecting adapters" so we could be even more creative.

My 4 year old grandson loved this but was disappointed when the batteries only lasted a few hours. Since replaced with new good quality batteries but still really slow and struggling to clime and bug gets stuck. He now has lost interest which is a shame as he was so excited when first received.

Overall good. With multiple bedbugs on it they can get stuck in the tubes side by side. Otherwise lots of fun!

A little smaller than what’s expected but nevertheless I’m happy with this purchase.

Christmas gift for my grandson along with a pack of Hexbugs. He is 3 and loves it. Works as described.
