This brush is OK. It holds water quite well, keeps its point, after being wet and dries again, it retains its form. Nothing wrong there. But for me it is quite disappointing that it is made in China. I should have researched better beforehand, of course, but it seems the lowest class brushes of Princeton are made in China, the rest - in Japan and the highest grade - in Germany. So the joy of the new brush was gone as soon as I saw "China" on it. I guess this is to be cheaply manufactured. I have yet to see how long it will stay in shape, keeping in mind where it has been made.

Ne Weile habe ich fuer Sumi-e Aquarelltechnicken einen tauglichen Pinsel gesucht und hiermit endlich gefunden. Die Borsten sind formstabil, haben eine feine Spitze und sind dabei trotzdem so flexibel, dass sie nicht ueber das Papier 'springen'. Das 'Springen' meint, wenn die Borsten einen bestimmten Winkel zum Papier erreichen, rutschen sie vom Papier ab und 'springen'. Farbgeklekse und unpraezise Linen sind die Folge. Gerade wenn man etwas gegen den Strich des Pinsel arbeitet passiert das schnell bei anderen.
