Surprisingly powerful for a small 2 x AA battery torch.
Bought this torch after looking at alot of online reviews from various sources.Very good build quality, and design which Fenix is known for. The size is thicker than a pen but, still very much for the pocket. This torch is a very good EDC (Every Day Carry) It has 4 modes , it starts on low setting 30lm I think, and scales up to level 4 which is maximum of 350lm.You can get more powerful tactical torches at this size. But they require more expensive versions of alkaline batteries (to run at their declared max power). . Which are not common batteries carried by regular shops. Or are rechargeable cells. Plus the unit prices on tactical torches are alot higher. The run time at 350lm on AA batteries is very long , and on balance impressive. If it goes flat just pop some AA's in and ready to go, no messing about.I have a few torches of various sizes and powers. So at first I though this was pretty good , but not epic. That said the more I use it, and remember its only running AA's batteries . The more I get impressed by it. I have used it at work, and people have remarked on how powerful it is for its size. Seems to throw well, and have enough flood. The only thing I find slightly annoying is that you start on the low setting. Then click/scale up to max power. But I knew this before I bought it, as I say its a EDC not a tactical torch. So starting on low make sense for very long battery life, plus even at its first setting 30lm is enough to see.

Amazing quality and value
This is a really nicely built compact torch, and easy to carry in your pocket. The clip is removable and can be placed on the other side, too; also comes with a hand lanyard and a spare O-ring. It can stand straight if you place it lens down, but not on the other end.Performance is amazing for such a small torch, it's really bright on the highest setting. When you turn it on, it always starts on the lowest setting, which I personally like, but it would have been nice to be able to switch it on and go straight to medium or high.It came with two AA batterries which is the best, since you can buy them anywhere, but they're not reacharable. I would buy recharable ones for daily use.Overall great quality and price, feels like it will last some time.

Very good.
Much smaller than I expected, but it's a little cracker! The size of it is certainly easy on the pocket...Plenty of light. I hadn't realised how much the lumens of LED torches has increased over recent years.

A superb torch, feels very premium in the hand,a perfect size and weight for a 2x AA battery torch, perfect for indoors and outdoors with every brightness level you need, and the runtime/battery life is incredible, will definitely buy another as a spare, best torch I've ever had.

Easily Pocketable
The Fenix E20 V2.0 is a remarkably compact flashlight, it is easily pocketable. It can run on alkaline aa batteries or rechargeable NIMH aa, but lithium batteries are prohibited by the manufacturer. Build quality is excellent, when you unscrew the cap to insert batteries the action is silky smooth. An advantage of this torch is the simple tail switch operation, one click ON , one click OFF and half presses to go through the four light levels which are 5, 30, 150, 350 lumens. It’s a perfect every day carry flashlight for around the house and outside for walks etc. It has a soft pleasant beam in a neutral to warm shade. It isn’t powerful enough for emergency services work in my opinion, as the beam wouldn’t be strong enough for searching open country , for example also the runtimes on the highest setting are limited. Note that NIMH batteries reduce runtimes, but of course, the advantage of this torch, against one that have direct cable recharging is that you just insert fresh batteries and don’t have downtime whilst the torch recharges. There is no strobe or SOS mode, which is a plus for me. Seems expensive, until you hold it !

Bright!
I had bought and used many Maglites until recently, and they are fine. But I had two Maglites fail recently so I was looking for other torches and came across Fenix. And wow! The brightness and usability of these is incredible. The one thing I would say about them is they don't look as cool as Maglites, they could definitely work on their design. If you don't care about design and want a great torch, this is it.

Top level of EDC torches
Great torch, powerful for its size and runs on 2 AA batteries, which I'm sure you can find even in a zombie pandemic of a fubar magnitude :) it also feels very well-built and sturdy with nice click action and a metal clip. It is very slightly too large for me to EDC and I recommend the smaller Fenix E12 (runs on 1 AA!) for throwing in your pocket everyday.

For an AA flashlight, it’s the best!
I have no dislikes. This lights takes x2 - AA batteries and has an amazing physical profile. It fits easily into a pocket like a penlight that’s slightly larger. The beam is more “spot” in comparison to an Olight i5t but can shine a long way. The beam color is nice on the yes. It’s awesome for what it is!! Obviously flashlights with a rechargeable cell perform better but the convenience of being able to throw AA battteries un is awesome! Worth 5 starts for what it is!!

Good product
Pros:1. Built quality. 2. Brightness. 3. Colour quality, does not fade out easily. 4. The led colour temperature is cool quiet readable. 5. Different modes. 6. Small and compact size. 6. The lens technology is very good. 8. Water resistant. 9. Constant brightness stabilization. 10. Brightness controll during heating.Cons: 1. Runtime. 2. The led has a dome shaped epoxy on it, so the lens does not fit easily, creats certain dark area during lighting.( Which E12 v2 don't have, spreads light evenly) 3. It would be better if there is another lighting mode of 80 lumen . This will give the torch a mich usable aspect. Because everytime we have to use it in 5 or 30 lumen mode. Forget about 350 lumen, the 150lumen mode even do not last long.Otherwise everything is just like the product was mentioned and it is a good torch indeed. If your need fits for a AA torch.Notes: company has mentioned alkaline and Ni-mh battery runtime on the box. I am using alkaline batteries and getting runtime of Ni-mh batttery. Which is normal because in test lab fenix has used 1900mah eneloop Ni-mh battery. And the alkaline I was using can give upto 1500mah power and afterall mah power is most important. But fenix has not mentioned which alkaline batteries they used during runtime testing. As per calculation each those aa alkaline batteries have 3850mah power and which is not possible for any aa alkaline battery. So don't disappoint by the runtime. The torch is ok.
