Solid no frills fork
It is so hard to find 1" threadless forks. Even harder to find carbon. The only two companies making new forks in this size is Ritchey and Origin8. I went Origin8, since I have used several of their parts in some vintage rebuilds. I am very happy with the fork. It is a solid well made fork that isn't super lightweight or heavy. Isn't super stiff or too flexible. In other words just an all around no frills good product as is all Origin8 products. The fork uncut weights 560 grams, and cut 500 grams. I used this fork on a 1990 Klein Quantum rebuild. The stock forks were super flexible, these forks solved that immediately, but still give a supple ride. I also used the Origin8 headset and cranks.
