It's a good product but needs a little modification to make it user friendly.After putting my completely drained battery on charge it was showing no load (as per description battery is damaged), after charging the same battery with another charger for 20 Sec, I put it back on charging and it starts charging it and worked fine till it fully charged.So completely drained or dead battery will show as no load and will not charge it.

I was impressed by the product description and bought this PJP 12V 7AMP battery charger which was delivered by amazon.in on 13/07/20. When I opened the box first thing I noticed was no user manual and warranty card. Front plate corners of the charger body were damaged though I would not call it as a negative point! No inspection / warranty seal on the product. No embossed name plate on the product showing minimum details like model no/input voltage/output voltage/output current etc. except a hand written paper sticker at the back which read 7 Amps and month/year of manufacture. Product description in the listing says it comes with the ammeter but it doesn’t have ammeter. Performance wise, I connected my running car battery (Not a discharged battery) 12V / 35AH to test the charger functioning and the charging light came on indicating it’s charging. As I mentioned earlier, running car battery which means nearly charged battery and given the 7AMP charger rating, it should have charged/top up the battery to full in not more than 2hrs. time! However, I kept on monitoring but to my utter dismay the charging light stayed on even after 12 hrs. of charging and it didn’t cut-off and I had no clue what so ever whether the charger is really working or no! And also I doubt now the authenticity of the charger 7AMP rating, possibly it’s less than 7Amps!!! Last but not the least, I had no option but to return the product and amazon.in has been very prompt in addressing my concern by accepting the return and refund of my money within a shortest possible time! Good product, charged both bike and car battery... It charges well, cut off is also working.... All good..Crocodile pins needed a change, the wire also will need a change, overall product is good...!!!

The is just what it is meant to be and works 100%. One can't complain for anything here, for the guys complaining it's more like they have issues battery or they really don't know the A of battery chargers , they give negative feedback and confuse people . Atleast know what u are trying to do before writing a review for a product. So it gets my 10 on 10. Though the charging wires could be better and a user guide would be welcome .

The media could not be loaded. What are the charges for at least eighteen hours on my fully drain battery which is a 35 ah incapacity it was fully drained and it took almost 18 hours to charge this. I didn't automatically cut off so I use voltmeter to see the voltage increment so it was from 12.2 to around 12.9 volts. And when I connected this battery to my car able to start the car at least 14 to 15 times without any fail. Everything was working just like any fully charged battery should work. Only downside for this product is automatic cut off is not working other than that it seems to be very reliable product as its able to recharge my fully drained battery.

The product is simple and hence easily repairable. But built quality is very poor and lacks features. Length of wires is also very less. The front panel of the product was oversized and bent. The body of the charger was also bent and damaged. I found the product had a stub falling out of place. The price is too much for a badly built product like this.

I am a retired electronics Engineer with 35 years experience. The Input and Output cables are of VERY POOR QUALITY. I have serious doubt whether it can carry even 1 Amp current. It looks so flimsy. Even ordinary toys have better quality wires. Moreover when I switched on there was no output. Then how can I use it.You may arrange for immediate pick up. I have not asked for any rescheduling. The message that I have asked for rescheduling is a bogus one. Never do such tricks on customers to avoid payment for bad and substandard items.

I received this yesterday and tried to charge my Duke 390 battery which was drained due to non usage in covid-19. It fully charged the battery in 3 hours!! brilliant. For those who are complaining of no manual, its doesn't need one actually. Still,. let me help: After taking out the battery from your vehicle, connect the positive (+) to positive terminal of battery, connect the negative (-) terminal to negative to negative terminal of battery. Connect the power cord to AC (home power board) output source. Switch on. If no battery is connected, "No Load" light will turn on. If battery is connected wrongly, "Reverse Battery" light will turn on. If battery is connected correctly, "Charging On" light will turn on. Once the battery is fully charged, "Charging Cut Off" light will turn on. Hope that explains, its very simple. The red and black wires are also of different length, if its a thoughtful design to avoid the terminals touching each other while dangling, its indeed a good design. Value for money product. No more spending and getting internal battery parts replaced from the local charging shops...!
