Small, well-designed laptop/travel backpack with features
I spent the last two weeks researching different backpacks: North Face, Tucano, Thule, Cotopaxi, Tortuga, Fjällräven, InCase — I've looked at them all. I was looking for a flexible backpack that could work both for travel (including hikes, beach trips and city walking) and for commuting. My perfect backpack would fit a MacBook Pro, have lots of soft padding, have a trolley strap (i.e. to attach to a luggage handle), fit the "personal item" dimensions of all major airlines, have MOLLY straps or similar for attaching things like a beach mat or a camera tripod, have at least one side bottle pocket, and have a good selection of interior pockets for smaller objects. It should also be minimalist; I'm not a fan of logos and unnecessary embellishments. This backpack ticks all the above boxes and more: It's lightweight, and seems very durable. I like that it's made from recycled materials. It has compression straps, allowing you to bundle it up tight (either for stowage in tight spaces, like under an airplane seat, or to prevent objects from moving around too much when hiking). The distribution of exterior and interior pockets is perfect: Two slim outside pockets and two inside one, of which one is a see-through mesh. The laptop pocket also has a separate pocket for a tablet or additional small laptop. The interior compartment isn't huge, but large enough for everything I tend to bring (camera, headphones, sunglasses, wire case, etc.).It came down to this one or the Thule Accent 20L, which is very similar and sells for about the same. Ultimately, I found the the Accent to be a little weird-looking, with its top hump. It's barely larger than the backpack I've been using the last few years, the Fjällräven Kånken, and is about half the depth. Compared to the Ogio, the Kånken's lack of padding is pretty ridiculous. The only feature I'd like to see added is a charger feature. Some newer backpacks from Tucano and others have a phone-sized pocket on one of the shoulder straps, allowing you to thread a USB cable from a charger inside the backpack and through into the phone pocket for charging on the go.

An absolute pleasure!
I bought this version as my first new bag in nearly a decade based on the material quality and the waterproof lining for the laptop/tablet pocket, as I live in a region known for wet weather. The next week, I traveled to a place even wetter, a complete downpour, but opening the bag, you would have never guessed. Everything was protected and safe!Add some great storage compartments and deep bottle holders and this bag is a dream. No regrets!

OGIO is legit
The best work backpack. Couldnt pass on the discounted price for the backpack I bought. Sturdy but light. Stitches are clean and easy to wipe down.

Nice pack but a little small for me
I like the style and quality of these OGIO packs. I wanted a pack for travel, to carry camera gear, layers, water, souvenirs, etc. This one was nice, but just a bit too small for my purposes so I returned it and got the Convoy 520 instead, which I an very happy with.

Nice Little Backpack
Used to hold work laptop and notebook plus tools. I like how it's slim but can still fit quite a bit of stuff. Feels durable

My first new backpack in 5 years. Have received several compliments about it.
I really like it so far. There are four separate exterior compartments; a water proof laptop compartment with space for a laptop and one for a tablet, the next one is as large as the first and there are two more zipped pockets within for items that are not as delicate our valuable, the third one is large enough to fit a medium sized notebook and had a pocket for your mouse and another for a pen/stylus, and finally the smallest compartment is perfect for several small items and a hook for your keys. In addition to all of this, there are two pockets for water bottles. You could even fit an umbrella in one of these since each has straps that you can use to tighten up your bottles, umbrellas or similarly sized items.I bought the camo colored one and it looks great.

high marks
I want to leave this little review because i really like this bag.I like backpacks, have few of them and I'm fussy. There are these fancy brands that will blow you away with a space grade material, and who wouldn't like that.. but that doesn't always translate to an enjoyable and practical product. I feel like it's the opposite with this bag. When first picked up, it was like, 'well, ok for the price' (got it on sale). Back panel semi rigid and the fabric lookedthinner and softer than the tough ones i have on more expensive brands. but as soon as I started taking it out, it was all different story. it's convenient and cleverly designed!good points: - organisation: love it! 2 front pockets (and you can actually put something in them), main compartment has got mesh pockets on both front and back, laptop compartment extra sleeve for tablet and water bottle pockets on each side. that's good for this size of bag. - I like how it carries - fits really nicely on a back.. and again, since i'm spoiled with highly profiled back panels on other bags, i was sceptical.. i have to say it's been super pleasant to wear, and we've already had some warm days when I was definitely expecting my back to be more warm and sweaty but it really wasn't.- compression straps - i'm normally not a fan, it gives bags untidy look and i don't believe they work... somehow they are ok on this one, they give extra grip for water bottles if you need. the top side one is placed in such a way that if you grab it you can unzip the top front or main compartment with the opposite hand. as if it was placed there strategically. also, these top ones allow for object of almost any length (reasonable) to be carried on the side (tripod, long umbrella)- size and shape - is great, it looks ok empty and full, on a man or a woman, i'd say it's the size that suites 95% of population for whatever people use day packs for.. unless you have some specific requirements. (carrying like an equipment for your workout or a gi for martial arts - you need a bigger bag.. ) - bottle pockets are both great, large enough to hold any bottle, and designed in such a way that they don't take the internal space of the main compartment - quality details - waterproof laptop zipper (stated, not tested), leak holes in water bottle pockets, reflective details, ykk zippers, higher grade thicker cordura fabric on the bottom.if there are any negatives it depends on what you want a bag for: - Back panel - could be stiffer. it's fine for me, i've got a 5 year old mb air.. if I had a new machine worth 1.5 - 2 k. I'd want more protection. extra case or another sheet for structure rigidity.. can be easily slipped there anyway. - Looks - it's more a sporty kind of thing, but in black.. in this day and age will be fine even with the suit in formal environment.Overall well designed bag almost for everybody, I really enjoy it. I haven't had a chance to use for daily work grind (that's laptop and gym kit on daily basis) but I like what i see.. Recommended. I hope this helps

Great travel bag
Best bag I ever bought. Zips are strong and don't get jammed like others do. Lots of pockets and some hidden ones on the inside. Just the right size too, comfortable and highly visible. Bag for life. Worth every penny.

Very competitive and great for flexibility of space. Padding is lovely, like a sleeping bag.
Well built and padded. Only downside is the lack of padding at the bottom of the bag, so dont drop your bag. Zips and materials are a good standard and feel robust.
