SO DELICIOUS!
I've been purchasing this for years and it's delicious although I feel the package has gotten smaller as time has gone by. Shrinkflation?*For those who say they have trouble separating the slices run the UNOPENED plastic under very hot water or soak it for a few minutes so the fat liquefies a bit and use a thin sharp knife to lift the edge of each slice. This will make it much easier to separate.

Too salty and poor quality for a 100% ibérico
I’m very familiar with jamón ibérico but the last few batches I’ve purchased from Fermin have been a complete disappointment. It seems like they send the lowest quality of their jamón to the US. There’s no way anyone in Spain would accept this product so they send it to a less discerning customer elsewhere. Unacceptable. They are charging top dollar for a substandard product.

Best flavor!
Incredible flavor! Everyone at the tapas party I bought this for was asking where I got it from. You can really taste the acorns in the meat. And the host cures and makes his own charcuterie. He was incredibly bowled over by this! I gave the second package to him as a gift. Pricey but definitely worth a try!

High Quality Iberico
Is it worth the price? Absolutely!Does it taste like jamon in Spain? Yes!I was in Spain last year, and I ate as much jamon as I could. There are different levels of Spanish ham. This is probably the top pre sliced offering available in the US. To get better you would have to buy an entire leg (and slice it yourself which is not easy,) or find a Spanish store which will slice it to order for you. This product is Iberico de Bellota, which means Acorn Fed Iberian Pork. The pigs are a breed native to Spain and they live on forage, mostly acorns. It is one of the most environmentally responsibile, sustainable, and 'humane' methods of raising pork.

Dismissive seller and random quality
I ordered two packages. One was of good quality as described; however, the second one was way below expectations which I could tell by the color and the taste. The ham was not as cured as described and of the quality of a $25 ham. I contacted the seller and sent them a picture comparing the color of both packages. They said the difference was because it’s “artisanal.” As someone who is used to eat good quality ham from Spain, I replied that the quality did not match what they were selling and requested only a partial refund. The seller stopped replying and never addressed my request. It seems that buying ham from this seller is a gamble you may get a good one or a cheaper, lower quality ham for the same price. I’m very disappointed!
