Just like anything of value it needs some getting used to. I could go through the piece I am preparing 4 times this morning when I couldn’t have used my guitar and as expected practice does the trick. Of course it could be made of platinum and have the support piece done in such a way it wouldn’t fall every now and then (which I eventually neglected) but this thing gives me the iterations I need to become agile when the piece requires it. Thank you guys. Note, I don’t need the electronics tool as I have Chordify to show me the way for popular music and the music sheets for the classical.

Very poor quality manufacturing. Tuning was not possible with unstable adjusters. Not possible to strum the chords as imitated in the sales video. Although the chords were populated in the LCD they were difficult to see and without sound feedback, no training value at all. Waste of money.

I have had shrednecks and jamstiks and other simple guitar practice devices for travel. You cannot tune this to sound like a guitar. You can't either with a shredneck. It is just a device to practice your chord fingering. It does have an LCD screen with the chords on it. Some of them are very helpful as I did not know some of the different ways to play some chords. It also has a simple metronome feature to practice timing.Jamstiks are good but they have changed their software and is very complicated to use on android devices. This is a big disappointment as all my former android jamstik software does not work.We travel light using only one carry on piece of luggage. This device takes up hardly any room and is real light. It is easy to pull out anytime and work on better fingering of chords. I have big fingers and tend to cover strings that are not in the chord. This device has helped my accuracy.What was surprising how many B&B's and even hotels have guitars to use. There were plenty of opportunities to play and just used this device when nothing was available.Again, this is not a tunable guitar. It is just for chord fingering practice. But for $35 what were people expecting?

Cheap feeling, my husband thought he'd use it for practice & has not picked it up once. The product works as advertised, probably great for travel & compulsive players with roommates.

This is a nice training tool. I travel a lot and it’s easy to toss in the bag and practice with.

I was looking for a small item I could put in my pocket and practice chords in bed or on a plane. The frets don't feel noticeable enough...not like a real guitar fret feels. You have to slide a cover up and down to use it which makes it even longer. You have to tighten the strings with a tool to make the strings tight to give any sensation and it's not easy to adjust strings because of the sliding cover. I thought about braking the plastic sliding cover off because I don't see it purpose but returned it instead. It also has multiple buttons they make the screen change through chords, and if you hit the right button it changes through variations of the chord. I think I read it has a metrinome. It was a bit complicated and I just wanted something small to practice the most basic chords.

Very bad. When I got it every string was very loose, so I tightened all of them up and tried all of my guitar tuners to try and fix it, and not even my guitar tuner could tell what it was playing. I tightened that last chord just like the others, and the entire string broke and the piece holding it together fell out of the guitar trainer itself. Very poor quality, waste of money DO NOT BUY.
