Anal fissure relief
I can’t use lidocaine so no over the counter medicines helped me. This was an absolute life saver when I had an anal fissure. You have to keep them in the fridge and try not to touch them more than you have to but they are easy to use. To soothe the fissure, I gently pushed the suppository in and out of the anus several times until it melted. It brought immediate relief. Along with that, I recommend doing all you can to relax the anus so it doesn’t have spasms that restrict blood flow. Massaging the tender areas below your ankle bones on the outside of your feet helps with blood flow to the anus. It’s a pressure point connected to that area. Good luck!

Worked well!!
These worked great! Honestly, they worked better than the expensive ones I bought. I was paying 35.00-45.00 for ones from my doctor and Amazon. These worked well. I was pleasantly surprised. I did buy them while it was cold outside. The top of the plastic wrapper the suppository is in its open. Which is weird... So I can see them melting in the heat and maybe leaking. Which sucks. I bought an extra pack to have them in hand...but I don't know what will happen if I need to buy them during the summer 😬

It works wonders. Hemorrhoids literally vanish with single use.
The pain is gone too. No mess or stain. Storage & Ease of use - It has to be refrigerated and when you want to use one, the plastic encasing has to be carefully cut open (I use an eyebrow scissor) and used immediately. If you try to hold the suppository between your fingers for even a minute, it gets all gooey. That is why I give it 4 stars and not 5. However it is all natural (that is probably why storage is tricky) and works every single time. Hemorrhoids I understand will come and go. A suppository at night helps immensely the next day.

Don't Ever Stop Making/Selling Them!!
This is my second purchase of these Witch Hazel Suppositories. I bought my first package last year, and I just used up my last one. As I was coming to the end I made sure to order more so they would get here just in time. Generally I deal with some fairly common GI complaints that caused me to try these out in the first place. I have IBS-C, and even though I do high fiber, water, exercise, daily magnesium, stool softeners, and prescription medication for this disease/syndrome, whatever it is, I do still have times when things become difficult and that can cause pain and swelling and similar symptoms. I, like most people who deal with such issues, have on hand all of the typical products from the local pharmacy – the creams, ointments and suppositories, but honestly I don’t really like them that much. More times than not they tend to make me feel MORE uncomfortable rather than resolving my discomfort. Maybe it just depends on the severity of my symptoms or what exactly I’m dealing with at the time – I don’t really know for sure. I just know I was at a point last year where I felt like I needed something “different”, something that was “cleaner”, with fewer ingredients, which could hopefully calm down some of my symptoms without any type of discharge or “warming/cooling sensations” (which may be preferable to some people under some circumstances, I understand, but is not what I was looking for). So I went on Amazon and eventually I found these witch hazel suppositories. They seemed to get good reviews for soothing flared “tissues” shall we say, without goopy creams or ointments, or even the melting often noted by myself and some others with the name brand suppositories that contain more active ingredients. When I got them I put them in the refrigerator as I have found that is the best way to keep these things intact and in the easiest form to insert. Also, the gentle coolness of That (the refrigeration) often helps bring some relief for the first few minutes. These do help with tender, painful, swollen tissues (piles, etc.), they help me to feel cleaner and more comfortable, and luckily I’ve only needed 12 in the past year, so that’s pretty good. Unfortunately, I just had a colonoscopy last week where a couple of polyps had to be removed, one on the larger side. I have been having quite a bit of discomfort at the removal site since the procedure. As we are still waiting for pathology results the doctor did not want to prescribe anything to help with this pain, but I did, thankfully, have several of these still on hand, and while they did not relieve all of the pain, they were definitely very helpful in taking the edge off it so I wasn’t completely miserable. I think they are a very good product, which I plan to have on hand at all times, so please don’t stop making them!! Thank you!!

Waste of money
Product does not work. It was half melted and just a sticky mess.

So much better than anything else I tried...
So, I am one of the lucky few people who got hemorrhoids at age 18. What the hell is up with that? Anyway, I originally tried preparation h supposotories, but they contain sudafed, a great vasoconstrictor, but it made me super jittery. Awful for something I prefer to take at bedtime. Also, those suppositories also contain shark liver oil--eww. Enter these wonderful witch hazel suppositories instead! My issues are mainly internal hemorrhoids that itch and sometimes turn painful if I am having constipation. The witch hazel in these is extremely soothing with no jitters. I usually take a cotton round, wet it with witch hazel, and place it against my outer area while lying down after using one of these suppositories--attack from every angle, I suppose! :-) I highly recommend you refrigerate or freeze these suppositories as they are very melty. However, that is a good thing since it is sure to make it to the spot needed to treat, which isn't very far inside for most people anyway. I usually wear a pad toward the back of my underwear with these just to be safe, but I have never needed it. Still, better safe than sorry. I have been using this product for 4 years now and I absolutely love it. P.s. sorry if this is too graphic a review for ya, when you have ibs for years, you kind of stop being embarrassed about this stuff. :-)

Best solution out there!
I was trying to find a natural solution for my 'problem'. Witch hazel works so well, but I thought there must be something out there that helps internally. This is amazing! I keep them in the fridge so they don't melt and retain some firmness for application. Try it!

My bottom loves these life saving suppositories!!
PROS: Easy to use (not slippery) Work instantly So soothing Stay in Natural - no nasty chemicals Not tested on animals (perish the thought :O) CONS: You may get the tiniest bit of leakage. When melted they are yellow but it's not enough to get through to underwear. IN CONCLUSION: I just suffered with an impacted bowel (sorry tmi) which was very painful in many ways. My poor little bottom got so sore I just couldn't cope, but on using one of these the relief was instant. These would be great for anyone with piles, anyone who suffers with IBS, basically anyone who gets a sore botty. I certainly won't be without these now. They may seem expensive but when I think what I've wasted on expensive pile treatments that were full of chemicals and didn't do much versus these which brought immediate relief with just one suppository, they seem pretty good value. I would recommend everyone buy a pack to keep in the first aid cupboard just in case!!

Wiseways Herbals Witch hazel suppositories
These are good. However, I put them in the freezer in a plastic bag as they fall apart if they get warm. They are easy to insert straight from the freezer.
