Sharper, tougher blades made my durable Remington shaver work better than ever. I have a basic shaver and I loved its simplicity. This is an upgrade and a life extension at a great price.

It is my very first time using it as well. Yet, if there was 6-star rating, I would rate it 6. Compared to the piece of junk I just replaced with this shaver head, this one is absolutely amazing.To start with, I absolutely did not have to take it apart to clean it; pulling the latch was all I had to do before brushing it clean. (That's the way it should be done, right?) Yet the old one I had to take apart to have it cleaned prior to every shaving. Not enough? Here is some more:During the shaving (with the old head) one of the blades might fall out. Not only it might cut me, it had got the shaved-off hair all over my chest. I might even have to take the shower once again... Well, I was not okay with that when I happened to be in a hurry...This new head is designed in such a way that the blades will never fall out during the shaving procedure. (It is funny that this convenience amazes me now; whereas, when I bought this electric shaver, it was supposed to be this comfortable already. Well... I am able to forgive and forget things quite easily.)______________________________________________________I can forget about the worries now. When I have to shave, I can just shave and not suffer through it.FYI: Gentlemen, if you want your ladies to kiss you on the cheek and not complain about you being shaved poorly, you might want to use the Remington R-5130 Pivot & Flex Titanium Dual Track Shaver equipped with this wonderful shaver head!!!It only makes me wonder why my razor (Remington R-5130) came equipped with a different head and not once like this???I love it, men, I love it!!!You will love it too once you start using it!

I had a R-3150 for a decade or more, and never realized I should replace the cutting head. It took longer and longer to shave, and finally, it was taking almost five minutes to do a complete job. I decided to get as new head and BOOM. It now takes 1 minute to do a complete shave, and the shave seems to be even closer than before. Getting a new cutting head was EXACTLY the right thing to do. I think formally you're supposed to do this every few years, if you use the shaver daily. Removing the old head and inserting the new one was trivial. Just pull the old one out and press the new one in.

I should have listened to previous reviews about this product. It is absolutely horrible. If I was able to , I would give it NO STARS. I inspected the product parts before using. I noted that the quality with really horrible compared to the original head parts that came with his razor. The cutting wheels are flimsy and did not even look like they were angled correctly. The lock in bracket that locks in the cutting wheels, was also very cheaply made. As previously mentioned, by others, the only thing this was good at was causing my elderly dad to scream out in pain. The replacement head did not cut t hairs but ended up pulling at them. He ended up with a red face from the irritation like he had a sunburn face. This took two days for this to disappear and his face was sensitive. I put back in the original cutting head and it shaved better than the "NEW" one. I ended up purchasing a new electric razor, on sale (Black Friday special), for less than the cost of this replacement head. I had hoped to be able to use my dad's old razor but like everything else, these days, everything is made so cheap so that there is a higher profit margin for the companies. Remington USED to produce good quality and replacement products but apparently no more.
