Our athletes love this one. Maybe it's the rough-hewn, nubby texture of hand-knit wool. Or the contrasting single stripe of color that encircles the head. I'm coming from the old school (I'm only mid 40's) where wool stuff was thick and tightly woven and I just don't seem to be finding products like they used to make them. One of my tests is to hold the material in front of a light and not see light. You can see a lot of light through these hats. You can't see a smidge of light through my old wool stuff, even when it was new before it has a chance to shrink even a little. Good hat.

Very comfortable and warm
Very comfortable and warm. Fits my head nicely. Top is not fleece-lined allowing for condensation to escape. This is my third sherpa hat, lost the other two.
