Polar Bears

My 3rd grader had to do a report on endangered animals & she picked Polar Bears. She used this book for research & citing material. When she presented her report, she used another copy of this book for a raffle prize. As students (and their siblings/parents) came by to view her tri-fold project, they could sign up for the raffle & at the end she drew a name. The little girl who won was so excited! It was a very cheap way to make school more fun. :)And seriously, this book is pretty great! Short, incredibly informative & GORGEOUS photography.

Good resource to gather information on polar bears with my students for our research unit (third grade class).

Used in our preschool polar bear studies

I love all things polar bear. I think that a lot of the pictures were airbrushed to give the polar bears a lighter colored coat. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5

Used for reader's and writer's workshop.

This is a beautiful book about Polar Bears. It has a lot of facts which my 7 year old grand daughter needed for her book report. The pictures are amazing.

My daughter loves polar bears so this was a no-brainer! Highly recommended.
