Easy Coat Refill

i was very sceptical about this product but, i was amazed how simple and easy it was to use and the results far outweighed expectations. i have a Merc GLA and there is enough product to do the car twice, so if i use it once a month it’s certainly not expensive and my car is looking great…..

I've been using Gtechniq products for quite a while now, C4 is amazing, G1 on the windscreen a go to and c2 liquid diamond is incredible, this however, is a game changer. It's hard to keep cars clean in the winter so anything that makes my life easier is a winner. This is a multi gold medal winner. Wash the car with a ph neutral shampoo, rinse, apply this stuff as per instructions, rinse, dry off minutes later and boom! Was so impressed, shot a video and sent it to many of my car loving friends, also ordered another bottle as i went a little far using the wife's car as a tester.. bottle claims 2 medium sized cars, I used more than half of it on her fiat 500.. oops. In all, for a winter treatment that lasts around 3 months its well worth £16 and happy to recommend.

I bought this to add a little top up the the coating over the winter months. A little boost to the hydrophobic properties of the professionally applied coating. As expected from Gtechiq the product went on perfectly and you could instantly see the hydrophobic nature of it. Drying was an absolute dream and saved the need for a drying aid. My car is black so shows all marks. It now looks like glass. This would be an easy 5 starts if it wasn’t for the hose attachment. I removed my existing one to use the one supplied. No matter what I did it just wouldn’t seal on the end of the hose. Water kept spraying back over me. I tried the hoselock attachment, which as stated, won’t fit. In the end, I applied it but got a soaking in the process. I also used the entire bottle, which is fine. I do wonder how much blew back over me though! I’d happily invest in a more solid applicator and just buy a bottle of product in the future. Either way, the car looks fantastic again.

Ok firstly I always look after my car, keep it clean and polish often. So my review is based on my experience. I used snow foam and cleaned it thoroughly and even dried it, then I applied this product and washed it off and dried it. I looked very shiny and sharp looking. But it’s been 3 weeks and it’s easy to clean and water runs off including the windows and it defo stays cleaner with a super shine. There’s enough in the bottle to do two cars, I would purchase again. Another great product from Gtechniq

3 for £15 bargain normally £15 + for one easy to apply very hydrophobic. Normally use use a wet coat for maintenance washes. Did 2 customers cars with 1 bottle and looked great. Waiting for the price to drop again for a restock. Wouldn’t buy at normal price although a good product

The results are good but it was clearly designed to use too much product. Extremely easy to use half or all of the bottle on one car. As you cannot really see it coming out you feel inclined to continue to rinse longer than is necessary hence using most of the bottle on the first try. Much prefer the C2V spray where you do a panel at at a time. Superior result and uses less product. No idea why the spay attachment doesn’t fit a std hole end either, everyone else seems to have got that right

I normally use loads of polishes and super gloss finishes but thought I would give this a try. After claying the car I simply sprayed on the coating, rinsed off and dried the car. So far the gloss is good, water shedding is great and the car looks like it’s been polished. Time will tell if it lives up to the 3 months between coatings claims but so far so good…

This product is high quality and very easy to apply. Just make sure to stop the flow of water after covering each panel otherwise, you might run out before finishing. The bottle is said to be enough for two midsized SUVs, and that estimate feels accurate. It’s been about a month since application, and the coating is still holding up beautifully. Water beads off effortlessly, leaving a smooth, slick finish. I’m not a professional detailer, but I highly recommend using a clay bar before applying this to ensure a clean surface and perfect bonding (even on a new car). For comparison, Gtechniq’s CS2 lasts a bit longer, around six months, but it’s more involved to apply and a bit pricier. Honestly, the trade-off is fair; a quick reapplication every few months is well worth the great shine and protection this product provides. I used both starting with CS2 as base and topped up with EC for that extra boost of repellency.

The Gtechniq Easy Coat Kit is super convenient. It’s quick to apply and leaves a nice, protective shine. Perfect if you want solid durability without spending a ton of time. Definitely worth trying for an easy maintenance boost!

4 stars only because the quick connect and sprayer are garbage. The product itself is fantastic and you instantly see a hydrophobic effect. Paint surface is smooth like glass when drying. Really makes it pop and pairs well with their ceramic spray. It's just the spray nozzle and quick connect thats the problem. Keeps popping off and you have to grip it on tightly. Got soaked while doing so. That's the only improvement I'd suggest, I threw it away. No point keeping and get a refill. Will look for a better sprayer and then use the refill in the future.

I used this product along with the GTechniq ceramic sealant. Provided high gloss, easy to apply, and extremely hydrophobic. Applied it before the rain and winter and look forward to see if it holds up.

Do not buy! Hose connector keeps popping off. Had to rig up something to use it. Product looks good though
