So So and Wish for More
The seat is pretty good to work out the core muscles and it fits the need for anyone, in large part, while they are sitting at a desk for work. The seat itself wears out the butt muscles as it is relatively hard plastic, with some flexibility, pressing against the butt for X time. Obviously, this creates a problem as it helps with the core muscles but wears/fatigues the butt muscles from continued use. I am sure it would be slightly better if I was to find a cushion for it, but this is just the review of the basic item itself.Another part of grading the product down as from attempting to contact the company for further information on the item. I originally purchased this for my wife as she claimed to like the idea of it for sitting around the house. She apparently forgot she told me she wanted one, so I took the seat to my work as I work at a desk for eight hours a day (small occasional breaks to recover work items, but not typically long enough to relax my butt muscles). I attempted to contact ErgoErgo via e-mail on their company web page, but I have not received an e-mail back to answer my question (question: Is there a proper way to sit on the seat to avoid injury to my back? I cannot find anything stating one way or another, but I cautious to avoid creating any harm to my back.).

Deflates regularly. Company unresponsive.
When I first got my ergo ergo (after trying a colleagues), I loved it. BUT...now that I've been using it for over a year and sitting on it everyday at work, I have to pump it up on almost a daily (if not more) basis. What a bummer. I have tried to contact the company and have even sent them pictures (upon their request), but they are now unresponsive and seem not to care. The stopper on the bottom has worn away a bit...maybe that's the problem?!?! I'm of average weight and size so don't think that is an issue. I wouldn't recommend purchasing (espeically for $129) the ergo ergo until either the problem is solved or the company is responsive to repairing/fixing it.

Seam at top came open on my last one, ...
Seam at top came open on my last one, identical to this one. But it is just right for my vanity, so I bought another. Wish I knew how to repair it when the seam across the top comes open again. The prior one lasted one year.

Great way to stay active when inactive
I bought this to keep from getting lazy when sitting. I use it at work and I really like it and it forces your core to stay engaged. The only thing I would add is some padding to the top as the plastic gets a little hard after several hours.

Three Stars
Rather expensive & did not work well for me.

Definitely an Improvement
Feels great sitting on this stool rather than stuck in a chair. However, I have since upgraded to a Swopper and they just don't compare. The ErgoErgo is fantastic for the price.

My hubby loves it!
I bought this as a gift for my husband because he sits all day behind a desk. It has helped strengthen his core, keeps him from slouching and it's fun :) The only downside is there is no padding on top, so sitting on plastic is not the greatest. He uses a small flat pillow to correct this.

ugh
I was very disappointed. I was under the impression I would give my core muscles a good workout. Cheaply made as well
