Garbage machine, garbage brand.
I've heard Janome HD3000 was a very good machine... Deeper research suggests only older versions are good. I've tried 2 of these machines from 2 different retailers and both have the exact same issues. something around the bobbin area breaks immediately causing timing to get off, issue happens again after timing fixed. I've never had a machine give me this much issue. This machine is just a piece of plastic garbage and I'll never use Janome again.

Solid machine
Bought this for my sewing wife. Subtracting one star cause I had to adjust the needle area to get proper clearance.

Broken plastic parts, parts strewn on bottom of box
My Janome HD 3000 arrived with damage, plastic pieces broken off. I have not used it yet as there may be internal damage. I have contacted Janome, hopefully for a replacement. I'm very disappointed as I was hoping to start sewing with it this weekend.
