Lumitec Lighting Touch Dome

Would have given it 5 stars, but wall switch no longer turns on light, you have to turn it on at the light. Not a deal breaker for me. It is a great quality product and does work very well. I used it for a boat aft deck light. The good news is that it fits perfectly where an existing 6.75 inch incandescent light was before, the screw holes and size are perfect. If you have an existing older style light which is that size, it will interchange perfectly. I love the blue light for mood lighting and also purchased and installed 2 caprerra bridge lights , also Lumitec and are also blue and white. The result at night is awesome! Lumitec makes very high quality products. The blue lighting at night is very cool and very bright when you change them to white. I would highly recommend.

Awesome light, but be advised I ordered a blue and white dimmable and we received a red and white dimmable. This is one of 3 for the boat so we just used elsewhere. The label on the barcode showed as blue/white but it was marked on the front as red/white. Mounted under the e box, red will be better for night driving.

Light purchased to replace malfunctioning light at the helm of my Grady-White. Works perfectly, love the dimming feature. Ordered a second one to replace the cabin light. My only suggestion would be to sell a 3-way, White/Red/Blue...

Sorry POS!I mounted on underside of electronics box. Looks great. A few hours later I noticed it was on, went and turned it off. Looked out again and it came back on again . Contacted Lumitec, they said they never had any problems with this one. They sent another one to replace it. I mounted that one only to find both the blue and white led’s came on at the same time. Contacted Lumitec again. Sent that one back and after receiving it they confirmed there was a defect. They sent me a third one, it will come one by itself anytime it wants to. I had to put a switch at my fuse panel to cut it off manually.I can’t believe they say they have never had any issues with this light when I have had three of them an none of them work correctly!It’s an expensive Piece of junk, don’t buy one!!!!

Easy to use and draws little power

For the price, it is really not worth it...I found an other model for 1/3 the price and the exact same functions.I purchased both to compare but this one has nothing to justify the extra $$$...An other thing, I am stunned that a light with both red and white LEDs doesn't allow to switch both colors at the same time to make a cheap warm white! It's only red OR white...Not worth it, I'm returning.

The media could not be loaded.  I use this light as the cockpit done light on my Island Packet 44 sailboat. It has been in service for 2+ years. It works perfectly! The red is awesome for night time passages.

I have 4 of the lights installed on my yacht, all under overhangs. I have replaced all of these lights, one at a time after accidentally lightly spraying water from a hose while washing the boat. Now the replacements are experiencing the same fate.The attached photo demonstrates one of the reasons. The potting does not always show these obvious cracks but so far they all have leaked with the slightest water, so much for IP67
