Overall Best mic for the price
Definitely the best budget mic out there ( I say budget because this is no where near the price/quality of studio grade mics). The mic itself has some weight to it and is very well built and sturdy. From what I got, buying the mic in “Certified Refurbished” condition is no different to a brand new one.. This mic is very good for vocals if your into that and is very clear... I do recommend a pop filter of some sort for the mic if you are planning to do any vocals for music. I have also seen that using acoustic guitars or any other instruments get picked up by the mic very well... To answer the question you guys had, YES it is XLR and not USB.... if you do receive a usb or a “damaged” product, you can return it to amazon without paying for labels. Overall the Mic is really good for everything really... Definetley the best mic for its price.. only downside is since it’s “certified refurbished” (if you even get that it in CR) you have a chance of around maybe 12% of getting a “damaged”/wrong item... but it won’t really affect anything because u can always return it and reorder it without spending more, only thing costing you is time.10/10 mic would buy it again

Easy to set up with a clean look and fantastic recording quality.
I am a gaming Youtuber and ive been lucky enough to be fairly successful. I first started off with nothing more than a headset mic to record off of. I then upgraded to one of those cheap CAD usb mics and then I bought this on sale. I cannot understate how important good sound quality is. It doesn't matter if you are a youtuber, blogger/vlogger, webcam diva, or podcast host, the way you sound matters and this microphone has served me very well. Excellent recording quality in a wide range of voices or noises. Background noise is non existent, but it does need a pop filter as it picks up your T's P's and sometimes F's petty heavily. A cheap pop filter takes care of the problem. I have tried CADu37 mics and a few blue yeti's in the past and they cannot hold a candle to the sound quality you get from Audio Technica. It does need a phantom power supply, but I think that's part of the reason why it sounds so much better than USB powered mics. If you are thinking of getting this, I promise you that anything else in this price range wont sound as good.

I Did NOT See THAT Coming
So, I've been doing a podcast for four years, and I've been using a slowly escalating in quality series of mics to record. I started out with a cheap USB Mic, went to a Blue Yeti USB and then to a XLR Condenser mic with a mixing board. My mic wasn't great but I figured it was fine, until I decided to buy this based on needed a new mic due to series of unfortunate events and a LOT of great reviews. Today it arrived and I plugged it into my board and recorded a sample and holy HELL the difference! The signal off the mic is clean, the low end was pleasantly rumbly , the high end was crisp and the levels on the mic blew the old one away. I used to process my show in post to correct a lot of blown out sections, yet when I record with THIS mic, they are fine, and god knows my voice isn't getting better. This mic is worth WAY more than what I paid for it...and should tide me over until I finally break down and let gear envy lead me to a Shure SM 7B because they are the mic professionals use, even though I am not anywhere close to a professional.

Lives up to the hype
Saw lots of recommendations from some of my favorite streamers about this mic and I can say it lives up to the hype. Easy to install, great sound quality, and it's affordable. Greatly improved the quality of my streams sound.

Great for the price.
Took a while to set up since I was having issues getting a xlr controller but once It was a set up the quality you get on this mic is great for my purposes. It’s crisp and clean.

Really can’t go wrong
Amazing sound at this price point. Sure you can get a little better sound spending $400 on a Shure SM7B but most applications compress the sound so badly you won’t be able to tell the difference unless your actually recording for a podcast or something. My buddies instantly noticed a huge improvement over the Blue Snowball I had been using. Works great with discord and picks up every thing I want it to and nothing I don’t with almost no tweaking.

Good for the money
I was kind of upset because of the poor packaging (very light box and wasn't even sealed) so i thought it wouldn't work, as these microphones are fragile and don't endure being smacked around a lot.For my surprise it works perfectly and isn't even scratched. Of course it has some baseline noise, but that is completely expected on this range of microphones.Overall a good deal for the price
