Keep lunch bag and cooler cold all day
Great cold packs for lunch bag. I use a Artic lunch bag to pack my lunches in. The bag stays in my work truck all day since my job requires me to travel from place to place. Even in 90+ degree heat, the packs are semi frozen after 9 hours. I have used in a Coleman cooler also with the same results. Plastic container is heavy duty and does not leak.

Awesome packs
These ice packs work great. I bought the small size & travelled across country during 80 degree temps with several different brands of ice packs and these had the best ice retention out of all of them. They lasted 10 hours each day of my drive in various types of coolers. I also like how thin they are for more food space and yet they stay colder than my thicker packs. Highly leak resistant. The handles make them easier to move around the cooler too. Highly recommend.

Stayed frozen for 3+ days in my cooler
These ice packs are great! I really like the handle incorporated into the design. I froze my packs for 72 hours before using for the first time. Each pack bubbled a bit, and all in the same area. Not sure if this will affect the longevity of these, hopefully not. (I also purchased some Rubbermaid blue ice packs, and they also bubbled when frozen the first time...not sure why the manufacturers of blue ice packs don't squeeze some of the air out before capping them, seems like it would prevent the bubbling). These were in an Igloo marine cooler in 95+ degree weather for 4 days at Lake Powell. Family of 4 opening regularly for food & drinks all day long each day. It was only on the 4th day that I noticed the blue ice starting to melt...but was still mostly solid when we left. I was impressed. Also, these were used at the top of my cooler to deflect the hot air that gets in every time the cooler is opened, so they were exposed to hot air frequently. Definately going to get another set of these, to line the bottom of my cooler with!

Apparently depends on what you are doing and how you are using but bought twice
So starting with my specific use case (large) and why I bought another set. Standard Igloo or Coleman medium large cooler, cold goes down, so set two across the top and they keep beer/soda cold to pretty cool for about 12 hours is the cans of drink going in were already cold. If the cans were not cold, then all four on top with cans on stacked up on their sides for maximum contact (same for hot summer days. Obviously not required for sporting events on cold winter days :) Bought the second set to have a fast and clean rotation, while one is in the cooler, the other set is in the freezer. Unlike using ice and the waste and drain, new ice nor loss of how much can be put in without the ice taking up volume. Hot day, hot cube of cans, quick chill, use with ice. The smaller Coolman work lunch box, just toss one in on top and everything stays cool. Sincerely like these and especially in the food and snack cooler since nothing gets soaked and cross contamination avoided. Sincerely love the way is you freeze them flat, the fluid is not trying to bulge a section out, but that fluid is a wonderful indicator of how well currently cooling things. If you pick on up and the fluid flows, time to change out to a fresh brick. Reverse when looking at them in the freezer and not sure when they got tossed in. We have had the kids put the smaller ones in the freezer standing up or on a side (not flat on the large surface side), especially with plug down, and like a bottle, the expansion will cause issues. As far as people having leaks and breaks, I did have one failure, but had dropped and watch bounce down some stairs. Anything frozen is compromised just by the freezing, and down a flight of stairs and going to cause a failure most likely, Take a fancy mug out of the freezer and dump some hot water in and see what happens. It took that oooppppsss to realize they have built in handles, so why not use the handle...and the other thing is keep on top in the cooler so in transport not getting beaten up by sharp can edges. My look is basically, four large will last an entire combined school sports year along with camping and all (minus freezing them and seeing how they do as a puck down a flight of stairs). Not bad at all for $25 bucks or so and less need to play with ice, ruined meet or hot dogs that taste crazy onion and garlic. I'll but at least four more next year I suspect if we can still afford anything best served cold...

Excellent size for the bag like cooler.
The perfect size for our bag like cooler. Does a great job and does not take up a lot of space.

Ideal for my Cooler
These EXACTLY fit my cooler, 2 lining bottom and one in each end. They take up almost no space, and are easy to move back into the freezer, where they take up minimal space. I just measured the cooler and ordered accordingly. The handles make them even more efficient to use. And yes, they keep things plenty cool for a day in the boat.

They stay cold.
For about two years, we had a single ice pack very similar to these, but it was about three times thicker. We live about fifty miles from shopping, so we would put the ice pack in the ice chest and do a long day’s shopping. By the end of the day, the ice pack would lose most of its coldness. When these arrived, I was concerned because they were only a third of the thickness, and I thought they wouldn’t work well. I was surprised to find the opposite. At the end of a ten-hour trip, they were still cold. Being thinner, I was able to place them in small areas and fit more in the ice chests. They definitely get five stars.
