Great quality
This is our second tent by wentzl and it I the same sturdy construction…. Even better. Previous one we bought 15+ years ago and lived through kids, big dogs and some very stormy camp trip but kept us very dry. So happy we decided to buy another!

Fine for car camping...
Two types of camping characterize my use of tents.First, there's wilderness trips to places like the Boundary Waters Canoe Area where weight, size and durability are paramount. For such camping trips, I'm usually taking an older North Face tent, or one of several cheaper (Sierra Designs, REI, etc.) backpacking tents. These tents are made to weigh little and withstand real stress and wind. One of my tents is a thirty-year-old four-season tent that still works exceptionally well. I expect decades of use out of such tents.Second, there are simple camping trips where we're living out of the back of our car. We bring a big cheap tent, live large on the dunes by Lake Michigan, set up a portable shelter over the picnic table and just chill. For such camping trips we have a couple older Coleman tents. But now that the kids are grown and we're not trying to fit seven of us in one tent, a tent like this is perfect for chill lakeside camping. This tent is a well-built inexpensive big tent. It's large enough to be comfortable for four adults if our two unmarried kids want to join us. It's not too large for just two campers, though if we are ONLY going to have two, we'll probably bring a backpacking tent instead. This is best for three or four--or even five or six if the other four are our young grandchildren. The tent is kept waterproof by a rainfly which you can take off if the night is clear, but it may well prove chilly without the fly even in summer. The D-shaped door is easily used by kids and opens large enough to be easy to get into and out of--you don't have to crawl on hands and knees to enter the tent, you can walk in.Though the tent is not made for wilderness camping, it will withstand a rainstorm and wind. The base of the tent is waterproof and the waterproof tub extends up the side of the tent vertically about a foot before becoming netting. The tent's footprint is 7' x12', giving each sleeping bag about two feet of space if all are oriented the same direction. It's probably not going to be comfortable for six six-footers, though theroretically they will fit. Height is six feet.Material of tent base and fly is 68D Polyester. The poles are shock-corded fiberglass.I'd expect a good decade of light use from this tent, and perhaps longer at one camping trip a year.

Great Tent
This was a great find. After a bad storm last year, our tent needed to be replaced. Found this and it has been great so far. Opening the packaged, the tent was neatly organized and everything labeled. The directions made it easy to put together...up in about 5 minutes. We were able to stake it to both dirt and sand. We have not had to deal with full rain but the moist air of the ocean allowed for us to determine that this tent is water resistant. It was also super easy to take down and pack up. Rarely does a tent fit back into the bag...but this was no problem!

Easy to Set Up - Quick Take Down - Compact!
Super easy set up! I am a very nonmechanical girl - and I did it myself! Have not tent camped in a long time, but have recently taken up camping from a side by side so we were looking for a compact tent that will still allow plenty of room for 2 adults, a big dog,and gear. This works! I would not sleep 6 in it, I think with that many it would be too crowded, but you could! Not sure how durable this will be over many trips, or how well it will do in the rain, I will post updates when I can. Colors are good for camping - not too loud, but still some color. What I really like is that it is pretty compact when packed away for the size.

Nice roomy tent that you can stand up in.
The media could not be loaded. A nice roomy tent that's easy to assemble and allows plenty of ventilation during the hot summer months. Comes with plenty of storage pouches sewn into the tent and the e-port for electric cords is a great addition. This tent has held up in moderate rain and 18 mph wind gusts so far.

Great family size tent.
The media could not be loaded. As an avid camper and Ranger for TheDyrt.com I get to the opportunity to test out new camping gear. Unfortunately with the current COVID-19 pandemic most of the campgrounds are close so we decided to do some backyard camping. The Tamarack tent was is listed as a 6 person tent and wI was able to fit my family of five comfortably in it. I have no doubt that this will accommodate 6 people. I'd recommend this tent to any family looking for a good car camping tent.Pros:-This tent is simple to set up, by 11 and 9-year-old boys. It only requires 2 poles for the tent and 1 for the fly.-The tent has great ventilation which helps to prevent condensation. I was honestly a bit confused by the lower vent zipper at first but it worked perfectly.-Standing room. I love camping but I hate trying to change inside of a tent when I can't stand up. This tent provided plenty of room for me to sand up and change without bumping into the ceiling.Cons:-The zipper on the door got stuck a few times.

I like this Wenzel Tamarack tent it’s a 6 person dome camping tent, can be used for your camping, hiking, backyard camping for your family, traveling, festivals and so much more. It’s made out of polyester, and all weather. Comfortably sleeps 6 person, quick set up. Built to stand, shock corded fiber glass frame provide stability in any situation. It’s double-stitched bug shield, weather guard, E-port allow you to put your cords into your tent for electrical cord access. It has a mud mat at the front opening helps keep your tent floor clean. Organized storage and a front awning. It takes 2 person to assemble it correctly. I recommend to friends and family.
