Works great. A bit bright and does clog, but otherwise it's great.
So I ordered this when I was pretty sick with an upper respiratory infection and having a lot of trouble breathing at night in particular. (I don't know what it was, but I'd never had such trouble breathing before.) I had a small pendant ion generator that ran from a battery which wasn't very effective unless I held it RIGHT under my nose, but since it worked I knew this was just the sort of thing I needed in general probably and went ahead and ordered it. So I will say right off, this helped a LOT. I was already starting to get over it by the time this arrived, but even so it has helped me breath quite a lot. In fact, in general it helps even now that I'm much better (I've always had a little bit of trouble.) I'm going to keep it running all the time I think. Now, on the cons. First, it's very very bright! I opened it up and stuck two LightDims on top of each LED and even then it still made it hard for me to sleep at night while it was on due to the light. Why manufacturers these days think everything should have LEDs that can burn your retinas out just to indicate whether or not they are on is utterly beyond me (I've always been happy with even the things from the '80s with those dim LEDs. You could tell if it was on or not even in the daytime without having to melt your eyeballs from looking at it...) One LightDim reduces output by at least 50% (the second is probably a lot less -- maybe another 15% or so,) so frankly this is utterly ridiculous. I would estimate the combined output of the three at roughly 100 lumens (so maybe around 43 lumens or so after the LightDims,) so it's enough that you can actually use the thing as a light to see by... (Except it's a weird bright blue light instead of plain white, so it's still not really very useful at all even as an emergency light.) In the end I just ended up having to put opaque tape over the part that lets the light out. It looks ugly, but it works. Later on I'll open it up and put the tape inside I guess. It also strikes me that when manufacturers do this it's technically a waste of energy. (Eg something like 100mA of power for LEDs like those versus something more like 15mA for a more appropriate indication of power status. This isn't a LOT of energy, but it's still a rather stupid waste -- especially when the user has to stick something like LightDims or even solid tape to block that output.)The other con is something seems to stick to the front output area. It's white and looks crystalline, so kind of odd, but I presume it's just dust affected by the ozone sticking to the sides. This I don't particularly mind and would basically expect. However, enough gathers over time that it can actually block a fair bit of the output, considerably reducing its effectiveness. It may have been a mistake to make the output area quite so small. All I have to do is blow it out slightly and it works again, but this is a bit bothersome all the same. I've actually been wondering if the metal bits on the sides are necessary (is this to intentionally provide a place for dust to stick?) Either way, just a bit more room wouldn't have hurt and might just have made all the difference. Now, these complaints aside, this thing works pretty well. It produces quite a bit of ozone and really seems to help me breath. What's more, that price is excellent. Most decent ozone generators cost quite a bit more than this -- in fact, $50 is generally a good minimum for this level of output with 60+ being more typical. For these results this pricetag is hard to beat. Some of those more expensive machines are better, but for most needs you just don't need such a machine. If you're working with a relatively small room (basically anything smaller than a living room) or can put it nearest to problem areas (eg if you use it in a kitchen close to where you cook) it will perform just as well as those machines for practical use (you can turn those up higher, but under those conditions if you set it any higher than what this thing can do you may have to leave the room...) I think this one strikes the perfect balance for normal reasonable use. In larger rooms, if you put a fan near it to diffuse the ozone more and turn it up a bit I think this might actually even be effective there. And yes, to those who were upset that there is a smell, ozone has a smell. It's the nature of the beast. To many of us it can actually be a bit refreshing in small, reasonable quantities, but if you want what this thing can do, expect there to be a smell. Obviously don't turn it up so high it bothers you though. If it bothers you that means you need to turn it down some.

Seems to be working against the second hand smoke
I've been dealing with a second hand smoke coming through the range hood in the kitchen from my downstairs neighbor . I tried everything and nearly lost hope of ever enjoying my apartment again. I used HEPA purifier -that did nothing . I plugged in bunch of fragrances around my apartment but the cigarette smoke is a hard one to get rid off. My place was smelling like a cheap motel. I was a bit concerned with the ozone output as opinions on health risks with ozone are somewhat divided but I decided to try some small unit that doesn't put out too much of it. The shipment was speedy.I got my purifier and didn't have to use it until last night. I had a slight smoke odor coming again in the kitchen area, smelly enough to annoy me. I plugged in this little thing and hoped for the best. Within about 5 min on highest setting I could no longer smell the cigarette smoke . I did smell the ozone which isn't the most pleasing yet million times better than the cigarette smell. I can compromise here. I then lowered the ozone output to pretty minimal and left it for another hour or so. I opened my balcony door to let some fresh air in to minimize the ozone smell. The results were significant, however,I haven't had a bad cigarette smoke in my kitchen since I purchased this purifier so I may update at later time and see if it can handle bigger odors. I'm hopeful though. So far I recommend this air purifier. The price is reasonable too.Little update: so I just had a strong cigarette odor coming in my kitchen. It quickly spread throughout my apartment . I turned on ozone miracle and went outside with my dog. I came back 5 min later and I could not smell any cigarette odor anywhere. This is simply life saving . I'll be ordering at least one more at later time for my daughter's room.

Poorly Made, Inconsistent Performance
I bought this because a co-worker has one that works as advertised -- hers operates with a quiet whisper and produces ozone consistently. The one I received worked the same way for less than half a day. I put it in the laundry room, where we keep the cat box, and that same day, just as a pleasing ozone odor began to compete with the cat odor, it began making a loud whirring / grinding sound. I followed the cleaning instructions (and repeated the cleaning twice more over the next two weeks), but it did not stop the noise, and worse, the ozone production seemed to come and go no matter how high or low I set the knob. I found that I could gently shake it and plug it back in to reduce the whirring sound, but it would revert to lots of noise and little ozone within a few minutes. I returned it within a few weeks of my purchase.

This is a great little unit!
This is a great little unit. I took it right from the packaging to the plug in. A simple turn of the dial and it is on. It does make a bit of nose but that does not bother me. Especially considering how compact and effective the unit is. The room I use it in is about 150 square feet and it handles that with no problems. Other reviews indicate it can handle rooms double that size. I noticed a difference in the air within minutes. I am curious to see how long it will last. Also, the blue indicator light is a plus. It reminds me to turn the device off when I leave the room for extended periods of time.

I'm glad I bought it.
The Ozone Air Purifier arrived promptly in excellent condition. It works great. I have another one like this in my bedroom, so I put this one in my work area. We're having heatwave after heat wave out here, so I have my fan on one side of me and the purifier on the other; between the two, I rarely need to turn on my air conditioner. We eat in this area too, and my daughter likes it on when we have our meals. I may order more when I have a chance.

Had to return!
Worked fine for about 2 days - but have to return because it became a fire hazard! Heard it making "ramping up/down" noises and went to unplug - and it was HOT HOT HOT! I ordered two others at the same time - no issues with those. I liked the size and quietness for the 2 days I had it....but not worth fire risk, to say the least.
