I just got this kettle today but had to say something about it.First it belies it's price tag and has a Quality feel about it.The adjustable temperature and heat retention is a brilliant idea and certainly one of my reasons for buying to because I use a hot water bottle and obviously don't put boiling water in it.With the old kettle I had to stay with it when I switched it on to stop it from boiling so this kettle is exactly what I need.It's also made mainly of glass and stainless steel rather than platic like the old one and comes with a spare limescale filter and a 2 years guarantee !!!Very easy to use and looks spectacular when switched on.WELL DONE HAYDEN !!!P.s. another plus, the spout doesn't drip !!!I had that issue with my old kettle !

Stylish, well made, glass surround for the health conscious (particularly for an item used so regularly in daily life). Boils quickly, the blue light glowing while boiling is a nice touch. I also notice it doesn't collect limescale as much as my previous kettles. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the kettle. It boils quickly, saves money and , when you have hard water like we have, you can see when it needs cleaning with descaler.

This is the second kettle I’ve bought. The first one went kaput a few days ago, after 9 months of heavy use. I had reservations about getting another but I do like the design of this kettle. I like that it’s not a push button lid as I’ve had many a kettles broken this way in the past. It’s a smart looking practical kettle. I noticed that this kettle boils slightly compared to my previous one. This one seems to boil to a more accurate temperature, the previous one would continue to boil over for 30secs before it would shut off. Hopefully this one will last longer, as I do love the design and the variable temperature feature. I couldn’t find another kettle better on Amazon at this price. Hopefully this one will last longer than the last.

3 months review. Very smart looking and a practical kettle. Didn't find anything better on Amazon at this price point. No issues. 3kW boils fast.If boiling smaller amounts, ~1-3 mugs of water, 300-1000ml, it boils to over the desired temperature, by about 10°C, but I suspect it's standard for this type of a kettle. When the thermostat kicks in and switches the kettle off the water still heats up for a couple more seconds, hence extra ~10°C.So when making 1-3 mugs my solution is to select the lower temperature to get the actual desired temperature - select 70°C button to get ~80°C for brewing coffee.Select 90°C, you'll get a 100°C and the kettle switches off quickly, without boiling the water for another 6 seconds. So still works well for me.

This is a nice looking kettle with a range of 4 temperatures. I bought mine in Sept 2024 and it has worked well until last week when it seemed to enter a keep warm mode every time it was switched on. I contacted Customer Care who sent me a return label for DPD, so returned it on Tuesday and lo and behold I got a replacement new kettle delivered this Saturday morning. No quibble. So this review reflects that service. Occasionally products break down thru no particular fault and it is important to know that you will get good customer service. Haden were excellent.

Bought this kettle almost 4 months ago. It boils fast and the temp select is a great feature but it has 2 flaws. Firstly the buttons have a loud beep when pressed and it can be heard from the other side of the house. If you have light sleepers in the house, this is not the kettle for you early risers. 2 flaw is the past day or two, it reaches boiling point but does not automatically turn off. It needs to be turned off manually which could be seen as a safety concern. If it does not recognise its boiling point then it may recognise the dry boil either and cause a fire. It was a good kettle but it’s going in the bin.

After some 20 years my current kettle broke down.Finding a new one was not as easy as I thought but after lots of research, I settled on this one.It's even more striking than the photos would suggest. It's rare for people to comment on a kettle but they do on this one!And it's packed with features found on models 2/3 times the price. For example, temperature control, limescale filter, a "keep warm" function and a good pouring spout. Additionally, it uses a 3kw element for fast efficient boiling. The lid fits snugly and provides a wide entrance for filling.Temperature control is ideal for coffee & specialist teas as well as other uses of heated water.The glass & stainless steel build are not only quality & classy, they fulfill a need. It's easy to see the water level and there's no risk of plastic flavour reported in other good brands.Haden is a well established UK company which is also nice & they clearly have their attention on quality.The only very minor niggles I have are that the power lead could be a little longer perhaps and that it is a bit noisy when heating at 100 degrees. Not so bad at lower temperatures though.It's early days yet so I can't comment on the product longevity. I'll update this review in 10 years or so!!
